Hey everyone,
So I’ve been doing dropshipping for a while now (Shopify store, mostly US/UK traffic), and I recently had to switch suppliers after months of delays and poor packaging complaints.
I wasn’t even actively looking, but I stumbled across a small warehouse-based supplier (China, but with their own inventory and surprisingly fast 5-8 day shipping). What really surprised me was how custom packaging and smaller MOQs made a noticeable impact on my repeat customer rate.
Just wondering—has anyone else here experienced something similar when switching to smaller or more “hands-on” suppliers instead of big-name platforms?
Not trying to pitch anything, just curious what kind of impact this made for others, especially in niche markets.
