Per the terms of Craig's list

8. POSTING AGENTS

A "Posting Agent" is a third-party agent, service, or intermediary
that offers to post Content to the Service on behalf of others. To
moderate demands on craigslist's resources, you may not use a Posting
Agent to post Content to the Service without express permission or
license from craigslist. Correspondingly, Posting Agents are not
permitted to post Content on behalf of others, to cause Content to
be so posted, or otherwise access the Service to facilitate posting
Content on behalf of others, except with express permission or
license from craigslist.

Has anyone attempted to do this?

I didn't know they even offered a license.

Exactly what options would you have that
every other poster does not.

Thanks for the info.

ummm how would you even get a hold of CL i tried to ask them a question in the past and was not able to find any real contact info at all.

CL is using the term "license" in the general legal sense. They are not suggesting that they offer licenses to perform such a service. What they are saying...is that you cannot do it...unless they say you can do it. I know of no instances where they publicly state that they offer this service. Perhaps they do offer it to select people/companies they have relationships with....this TOS paragraph basically covers any event if they so choose to give that permission.

send a C&D to them lol.
i would just mass email the crap out of them, they will notice that

I never posted on crazelist. what the heck is this license ?
Refer to Darknuzzie's signature if you need license.

Maybe it's sort of like the pot law they put into effect in the 1930's.

The law was, you could have/sell pot if you had a pot license, but the only problem was there was no such thing as a pot license.

Maybe this is the same approach they are taking for legal purposes.

can we affix this license on car's number plate?

Yes...they leave open the possibility if such a possibility existed. :D I'm sure they offer it to somebody under the table..the way the email providers used to whitelist and pinklist certain spammers without publishing that they offer such a service.
