Has anyone actually recovered rankings after the March 2025 Google update?

Since the March 2025 update, I’ve seen many sites lose traffic, but very few recovery stories.
For those who were hit:
Did you recover fully or partially?
What changes actually made a difference (content pruning, internal linking, backlinks, CTR tweaks, AI cleanup, etc.)?
How long did recovery take?
Looking for real experiences, not theory. Case studies and data would be appreciated.

couldn't recover since 2024 december spam update

I'm number one from the most recent update for my keyword. Ahrefs doesn't reflect ANYTHING close to my monthly traffic with their public organic rating, so people don't think much of the site, but its creeping up! lol

Some sites did recover after the March 2025 update, mostly by improving content quality, fixing internal links, I think we should focus on Content.

Most of the times ranking will come back in next google update. Like , there was an update on December and you might see recovery for the blog now.

It usually requires patience and a mix of tactics to recover after big changes, in my experience. Remove thin or out-of-date content, improve internal linking, and increase click-through rate (CTR) with catchier names and descriptions. Although backlinks and AI-assisted content cleansing can be helpful, the effects are typically not noticeable for a few months. Keep a close eye on the adjustments to see what makes a real difference.
