I know this is unrelated but as someone who's currently learning python, what language do you suggest to learn for someone looking to make webapps for subscription type of services?

If you mean subscription type as in subscribed in webservices ; go with web technologies -> my preferred is Node/Angular stack.

BTW OP seems a pretty good developer. Good luck with the sales

Python is one of my preferred programming languages, great for lots of stuff.
When it comes to webapps though, what I'm always using, and especially for web services / APIs, is Node.js. Main reason would be it's async way of doing things, which makes webapps (and not only) perform much better compared to other languages.
