For a week - and not just vegan. We're talking just raw veggies and fruit, for the most part. Some rice cakes to give me the illusion of being full perhaps.

Never thought I'd be one to try this, but yeah. I'm starting to feel bloated these days, and I had some stomach issues a couple months ago, so I really really need to work on my diet. Been hitting the gym for years now (although with long, few-month breaks at times), but the dieting part is something I never got right. I've been following someone on Instagram who keeps talking about veganism and detoxifying and how great it is so I decided to do a 7-day experiment and give it a shot. Dude's also a gym owner and he seems to know his stuff. This is supposed to be called holistic health or something. I watched Food Inc this week and not feeling too good about the meat I've been eating, so off to GMO cucumbers it is.

I also have a stupid habit of watching something on YouTube while I eat and then continuing to eat until it ends. Sometimes it ends before I finish my meal so I move on to another video and... it's a vicious cycle. So I've been thinking how the fuck can you overeat broccoli amirite.

This is just a step towards eating somewhat healthier, and perhaps feeling better and have more energy along the way. Please note that starting this thread is in now way a commitment and there's no guarantee I'll last until the end of the day even.

Will post updates for your entertainment. Off to consume a couple grams of raw ginger, FML.

Mate you just need balanced diet, not this vegan bullshit.. and I can guarantee you that you wont have energy boost from broccoli .. :)

I used to think the same, but everyone's body is different so who knows this might end up being food for me. Let's try and see.

I'm doing something similar but still eating a bit of meat - do you drink a lot of milk/butter/cheese by any chance?

Perhaps you feel bloated and low on energy because you consume to many carbs? Vegan for 7 days is brilliant to detox and reset your immunity.......but trust me you will not be able to live on broccoli for very long. Cut back on sugar and carbs and if you can get on organic food......bit costly but tastes better :)
Yep.......gym time helps as well.....as long as you don't expect to be the incredible hulk.
Good luck with your diet regime.

Tip, while eating salads do't use salt. Your tongue will love it.

This is the same issue i have and I'm trying to cut that fatty body from long time.. :|

For a week its Good to try something different
You will be fine. I tried that before but I went on a vacation with my family they ordered all NV items in the menu. I started drooling and lose my control.

I went vegan last september and I gotta say, Best decision yet. I feel much better overall, but energy levels are the same. I also lift and manage to grow muscle on a plant based diet. I do eat meat about 1-3 times/ month (cant live without Mc Donalds, haha)
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Day 4 - Life is pain. Everything sucks. Lord pls end dis.

On a serious note, don't feel much of a difference, except that I don't really get sleepy during the day. Don't see how this would be for me though, I might just do lower dairy/bread or a keto diet. I am eating healthier for a change overall, so I guess that's something? 100% vegan though, no way. Will probably last till the end of the week just out of pure stubbornness but meh.

Next week, please try keto diet (non-vegan please) with intermittent fasting and let me know how you feel. I have tried it for the last 2 weeks and I must say, that's the best thing that has happened to me for a while. I have been losing weight and I feel great.

I used to do IF in the summer and was crazy productive actually. Will try it with keto.

The correct vegan food is beans. Did a vegetarian diet for a few years a while back and beans are basically the best source of protein. None of that fucking fake-meat soy curl bullshit.

Naah I just eat raw ginger and Artificial Intelligence SEO

Good luck man. If you eat healthier I'm sure you will feel huge difference in your health over the first week.

The thing is, fuck what others are saying. Eat whatever you makes you feel good. If it's eating vegan bs only then do that! Don't listen to haters.. it's only about you not others. As long as you don't become that annoying person who forces their opinions to other people.

I have thought about trying it too, but I haven't felt like trying it just yet :D I do enjoy vegetables as munchies, they are real nice + better for teeth.
