I think often when they say an account got hacked, in fact, Instagram deleted the account for violating their terms. Not saying in OP's case it is the same.

Don't give up. I've been witness of a big account being hacked and the stupid people begin to post cpa offers as crazy.

That helped the guy to regain access to his account (2 weeks later). Insist to the ig team to helped you.

if you already report to IG, good way to be patient..
but for security, are you sure not activate "allow install from untrusted app" ?
try analyze your phone with packet analyzer or something like that..
just make sure if no trojan inside your phone..

i just had 2 accounts totaling 400k followers hacked, im in the same boat man, totally screwed.

I reported to IG but we will see.....and no i didnt give anyone my password for the guy saying that

If your account is legit Instagram can take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month to restore it. I know its obvious but be careful of links in your email guys.

Restore as in the original account owner getting the account back. Now, that does not mean that you'll get it back with all the photos and followers/followings as it was.
Some jerks delete all images, unfollow everyone, change the account name several times (which make those with automated unfollow bots to unfollow you).

Hopefully you get it back 100%, not just the "account".

Don't wait for IG to get back to you, just keep spamming them until they reply. That's what I did and I got my account back in 2 days.

Not much you can do but reach out to IG, unless you have access to the email address still

It's really weird but possibly I might have seen your said accounts actually being sold for sale on other forums. The IG hacking world is pretty small.

*Protip: If you haven't already, use a dummy email for your IG account and never make that email known to anyone.
(In most cases, hacks occur by way of accessing the email account linked to the IG)

I would also strongly advise using "two-factor authentication" on your main account, if possible.

Hi, you need to submit a support request to Instagram. You'll be fine as long as you have the original email.

Pages with 1M+ are constantly targeted. Hackers will search their page for contact info and send them an email (pretending to be from ig ) saying they have been selected to be verified and to click the link below and log in to get verified. There's so many ways they try to hack pages
