"h**p" link pointing to "h***s"

If I change my website's protocol from h**p to h***s, but I already have links pointing to h**p would google count it as a link to ****s version?

You only need to redirect your website from http to https.

You need 301 redirect from non-secured to secured (usually for non-WP sites), otherwise, you can cause a lot of duplication errors.

Of course, it's quite easy, especially if you use WordPress. I used Simple HTTPs redirect plugin or something like that. This ensures that everything is redirected properly.
