Hello guys, I've been trying to connect to the VPS for 2 days now to no avail. This is my first time connecting a VPS. What I've done so far:

1. Allow the remote desktop in Cpanel
2. Check the windows firewall for remote desktop (check the buttons for public and private)
3. I've also checked the services, remote desktop has been started
4. Tried to edit the regedit.exe and change the port 3389 to other port, not working too, so I changed it again to default.
5. Added inbound rules on the advanced security firewall on the port I added and on the 3389 port

What other steps did I miss?

Here is the error I always get:

Remote desktop cannot connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons:
1. Remote access is not enabled
2. The remote computer is turned off
3. The remote computer is not available on the network

Note: I already rebooted the computer, every time I make changes

I only use the vps free trial for now and just see how it works.

Since when did the cPanel have Remote Desktop option?

cPanel and remote desktop? They don't go hand in hand.

If you want to remote desktop into your VPS, you'll need Windows installed on it with RDP enabled.
