If you're looking for B2B clients, it's the most economical & fastest way to start.

Why not contact those ppl directly from Linkedin then ....
I have been directly approaching using LI Sales Navigator since a past few months. Didn't got any results since most of mid level managers either they wont bother to reply or they wont be interested to respond you back something like this "Thanks you very much" "Good to know" "Interesting" the higher position of decision maker the more difficult you will find them to engage with you. Very Difficult

What was your pitch? As you said, they receive tons of sales messages. You need to stand out from others if you want them to reply to you

Thank you for this great guid, looking to try it out and make something from it.

My pitch was more focused towards bulilding a casual relationship than being more salesly. Since my main priority was to build relationship with them. But the main problem is they wont bother you to respond untill you followup with them with few straight forward messages "Hey are you available???". Even if they do that conversation would end up in most generic way "Oh Cool Interesting" "No problem" "Thank you {my name}"
I have a linkedin sales navigator paid one but only one appointment. That didn't converted into sales. There no point of collecting data until they don't want to discuss.

You might want to try to personalize your messaging as much as possible. Once you've got a high-converting message, you can start automating.
