So, Amazon fucked up!
A commission of 3% is just not feasible, and this is the reason for all the shit -
So what's the solution -
Yes, with amazon focused sites, you actually don't have options. Because most of the people searching for "best of" keywords actually assume that the links inside will redirect them to Amazon.
So how can you create options - Add a price comparison table - compare prices on Amazon Vs Walmart Vs Ebay Vs Target [there are many plugins + themes]
NOTE - I am currently working on an Amazon affiliate site, and that's why I actually understand the bullshit that's going on. And I promise you, Amazon is not going to be my monetization strategy for any site I will start from now.
I would love these people to spill there insights on this thread - @WebMinati @splishsplash @MisterF @davids355 @BassTrackerBoats @Nerva @Topiano @TheVigilante @BlogPro @SEOMadHatter @Holzr @jamie3000 @Meddie @Jayder @namhq89 @PHPInjected

" Amazon doesn't need your fucking visitors "
Fucking Visitors -- The people who don't give a shit about you, because you never built a customer-centric business in the first place.
So what's the solution -
- Cry on the shoulder of your girlfriend
- Go get a corporate job
- Find affiliate programs other than Jeff Bezos [Oh, I mean Amazon] - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/get-kickass-amazon-associates-alternatives-for-frustrated-affiliate-marketers.1221283/
- Find another content angle - Instead of working on "Best Toaster for Idiots" - build content around "Brand X50 Review". This way you can directly link to the manufacturer's website [ and may earn more $$]
- Start focusing on info based content + Pinterest - Going this route will give you one extra traffic source, more authentic-looking website, better visitor retention, Ad Space monetization using Mediavine & Adthrive
- Stop working on Amazon Sites - Try lead gen, Adsense, Private affiliate offers [read the para below before going all in]
