Well i put full cloudflare ssl certificate, also issue their ssl certificate on cloudflare then just implement it on server basis (cyberpanel)

I predicted earlier that webmasters would start blocking their bots, the moment ChatGPT(and similar) replaces Google search ans Bing search.

Of course, why'd i give those rich assholes my stuff for free? They are rich and want to get even richer by stealing from me? I wouldn't get mad at all if another blogger copied all my blog posts at all, but i am quite mad at those big companies doing this injustice, we are the ones who built them in the first place to where they are. This is also why i made this post to try and spread options on how to ban/block scrapers and ai companies from stealing our content, i want it to spread so that entire internet blocks them.

I agree with you. It's the most logical thing to do.

If they're not going to give us traffic, why should they expect free content?

I´m just using BBQ plugin since it protects my WordPress in all ways without hassle.

I understand you are not wrong but every bot visit to your plugin consume your server resources because your plugin needs to identify and go through its own db to look for a match and block, I used to think my BlockBadBots can block almost all of these bots I would care less until I grew tired of seeing a super long list of logs these bots are trying on my WP site daily (plugin is blocking them effectively) and most are direct via server IP.

so what i did was to block all access to my IP and only allow traffic with CF headers to pass (your legitimate traffic is coming from CF anyways), I cut down 98% of bots this way. Those relentless ones I will still watch the plugin logs and if they go rogue, I will block them thru CF firewall.

It's so naive to use robots.txt against robots in 2023....

I see where you´re going, but I only use CF for their DNS service and I am not using their CDN.
