Open the index.html file and see if it's actually your article there and not firebase's default content. After that, deploy it again using "firebase deploy" whenever you're making changes to the file. Your article should be loaded if it's done correctly.

Yes it's possible but with the paid plan. I've seen someone using it as 301 redirect to affiliate links and ranked some low competition keywords with wordpress installed.
