One point that jumped out at me was that this forum is not a source of basic tutorials about HTML, CSS, PHP, Wordpress, or any other tool for making sites. The same thing applies to the most basic aspects of on-page SEO. I think that the best thing new members without this previous background could do would be to teach themselves the basics. Get a few beginner how-to books and work through the practice examples. Search for high quality online tutorials about the same things. This will be so beneficial for getting a site up and running and also to take advantage of helpful code examples found in many threads here.

Bump. There are a lot of people opening threads like these: "I need to make $xxx a day/week/month, what do I need to do?" or ones that got money and not sure where to invest. It's not like they are the only ones with money, so opening a thread like that should still be considered spam.

Hello greywolf this is very usefull as im a newbie i dint know where to start i have seen many newb's posting how to make money? i thought i would get the help there but dint got any

I think the problem is that people aren't able to network and reply to pvt messages until they have 15 posts, so its a bit of a vicious circle.

I agree 5 should be enough to get you started, the excellent grading system used by this BHW easily shows who is new and who is an expert.
