Guide for Getting Started

Hey, guys I'm just getting started and have been doing some reading but wanted to ask, is there any thread in existence that has a clear guide to building your account? Searched and didnt find one. I've started just this week (doing ok so far I guess ~490 followers/190 following, good engagement) and want to make a gameplan for my approach to building an account that has high levels of engagement, not just inflated numbers.

After some various reading online, here's the summary of what I've gleaned/started doing. Hope you guys can help point me in the right direction

1. Content - Creating an overall theme for niche, posting meaningful content regularly (once a day?), post at times with most users on average 2am/5pm EST (according to huff post, legit data?), good quality photos (DSLR, editing, etc)
2. Interaction - Following/Liking/Commenting, so far I've been specifically doing so on people who like my pics and often get reciprocation (I've noticed if I do it immediately after they like my pic, they follow/like back) going to try following other pages followers, good idea?
3. Shoutouts? - Seen differing opinions on this, whats the consensus?

I actually already made an attempt at this, didnt really know what I was doing so I don't really know if it was a good deal/worth it. What do you guys think? $50 / 4 hrs on acc with 1 mil followers in my niche (now I realize a lot of those must be bots), average pics got 10-20k likes. (Before/After 1 day: 90 followers --> 400 followers, ~20 likes avg on pics --> 1792 on one of my pics (same pic I had him submit, just on my acc. on his acc it got 6k likes) and upped 2 pics to ~200 likes. ~60 likes on two most recent pics I just put up after my shoutout deleted

4. Auto-likers? Whats the deal on these? I don't want to get my account banned/labeled as spam? Should I be implementing this or keep it manual? heard that instamole/instagress are useful, any input on those?

I know there is still a lot I need to learn, any help would be appreciated!

so is the idea of followliker to like which pics? followers of other pages in my niche and their pics? Or who? Is there a risk of getting my account shut down with followliker? What do you think of shoutouts?

thanks, I'll get started on reading more.

End goal is to help promote my brand, hopefully having 1 page with high levels of engagement. Will not be selling online products, its an in person real life service for the business I'm creating (still in beginning process). Maybe if big enough could sell apparel but the main goal is to create a brand that is known in my niche.

Shout outs are expensive but highly effective. Buying targeted shout outs in bulk is probably the best way to grow your accounts

If you run your accounts on FL conservatively there's a very slim chance of getting banned. You can use it to automate your accounts posting and follow blogs that are following big blogs in your niche

I don't use the like or comment feature

thanks, been doing some reading.

It seems like a combination of followliker + shoutouts (when I can afford it) is ideal. What do you consider conservative settings? Also, why dont you use the like or comment feature? How many accounts would you recommend?

If you can, 10 accounts is perfect. Not expensive but still scales fast

Go 2/3 of those settings and you'll never have an account banned. I just like to be extra conservative/safe

Thanks man, just read the tutorial in full. I'm definitely with you on doing conservative settings, will do 2/3 of ones listed in there.

Ok, so to get going I need to:

1) Get FL ~$100
2) Get proxies (so for 10 accs, would 5 proxies be good with 2 acc per proxy?) On sslprivateproxy its $3.95 for 'Instagram' proxy, should I be going for that one? so 5 of those?
3) Get sim card for phone numbers (Can I just use my family/friends numbers? I could probably get 10, any risk to that?)
4) Get VPS/Dedicated Server. SolidSeoVPS shows $8.95/month for 5 ips. How many would I need?
5) Make settings and adjust based on results. Do you use FL for posting pics or manually?

Does that make sense?

Looks about right. Since you're only getting ten I'd just get pva IG accounts from the marketplace

Yeah definitely do my uploading with FL: Makes everything completely hands off

Also, every single account I run has its own proxy

Ok awesome, so 1 proxy per account. What site/service do you get them from? the sslprivateproxy in the guide has a couple different price options, what do you do?

ok yeah, marketplace accounts from marketplace make sense. So I would get those and just change the names to what I want, yeah?

What VPS/dedicated server do you use? the one in the guide has a couple different pricing options, which would make the most sense?

I've heard that when buying shoutouts - it is more effective if you use it for another purpose apart from just 'buying followers', as in - you purchase a shoutout from a large page, you receive all this new traffic - some of which turn into followers. Try to then push this new traffic towards a website or online store as well, etc - so there is the opportunity to make money back/profit from the shoutout.

Also, another few methods to create accounts is

- An Android phone and rooting it to change the Device ID (each account should have a new Device ID, a new 'device' it is registered on. Make sure to SET the proxy on the device when creating.)
- Using an Android simulator for the desktop (can set Device ID) such as BlueStacks or Andy'roid' and using app
- Multiple different physical phones/devices
- + other methods such as Massplanner & Igerlikes acc creation (mixed reception I think)

I'm sure there are a few more out there but I think these are the main ones I have come across.

Yeah, I definitely agree with you on pushing the new traffic from the shoutout to a online site/store to make returns. I think that will definitely be the gameplan for me, but I still don't have my website/business set up so I'll get on that asap. Until I set that up, should I not make any attempts to do shoutouts? I was thinking of doing them even before I have the online store setup since I will still attain some followers who may get products/services later down the road. Although, like you said, its more effective to have it set up as you do the shoutouts so you can get the return profit from it immediately.

for the account set up any downside/risks from getting someone else to use their device to set it up? Do they re-verify things later on ever?

How many accounts are you trying to make? What's your gameplan? making a brand or what?

Primarily I have one brand that I want to build up, which is largely tied to myself as a person (ie. basically how a photographer uses themself as their brand) while having 1 main niche for the business (think cars for example). I am interested in a couple niches that will tie in and help the overall branding of myself as well.

So I was thinking with 10 accs total.

1 main account with my name, supporting my brand/site
3 acc in my specific business niche (A)
3 acc in niche B
3 acc in niche C

niche B/C are also things I'm interested in so I will actually enjoy making those too. Overall, the goal is to make my #1 acc very appealing in the sense of follower/following ratio, and large amount of likes. That way even if I don't have a ton of followers (under 5k for example) I still have lots of engagement (i.e 1000+ likes per pic, lots of comments) That way my #1 account will appear 'popular' and engaging regardless of it having under 100k followers.

Does that make sense? Just an idea for now, still have to put together a plan before I get everything I need.

Massplanner + Followliker are said to work fine aslong as you input the correct proxy settings.

Yes it makes sense, create a large targeted following in your niche through multiple pages then use it as leverage to grow your main business.

My game plan is somewhat similar to yours I guess. Looking to dabble in Instagram in my spare time and try to grow a good few accounts and build an empire (hopefully ) in a few different niches. I am not looking to plug a business at the moment (I freelance in film industry) but may do so later in time/more experience. So for now I would like to have fun and grow some accounts in some niches (I like numbers, stats and seeing progress ).

E.g.
- Fashion (multiple - niches within niches here- M/F)
- Health/fitness
- Nature/photography
- Motivational
---etc - just a lot of evergreen accounts like that with high quality content and running (and post photos) with FollowLiker.

Starting smaller with 5 or 10 and then scale up as I gain practical experience with doing this.

Will need to get a VPS though... I understand what they do/how they work but have never used them before so am little nervous/inexperienced with setting it up and running it so will need to research that I guess.

I think I will try the Massplanner process for creating Instagram accounts (not sure how to set profile pic for account?), and if not I have a cheap $30 android phone that I can use to change Device ID to create with.

VPS/Servers are the computers itself elsewhere.

Depending on which kind of server you're acquiring will determine whether you need to set it up.
Since you're a newb (like myself) you'll be going with a VPS....meaning it will be preconfigured already for you.
Think of it like you come to my house (virtually) and you then use my new/fresh pc.

All you would then need to do is put whatever you want on it, your choice of bot(s), your pictures and videos (if you'll be uploading from the bots), ect.,

Its not complicated, no need to overthink anything, just set your gameplan & EXECUTE!
