Hey guys, since I learned a lot here in this community I decided to tell you about a method I use to get subscribers, which works really well (for me).
I'm not an expert and I know there are a lot of guys here who know their stuff but maybe this little guide will help someone as it helped me to gain a good amount of subscribers in a relatively short period of time (2 months).
Sure, you can go to whatever SMM panel you like and buy your 1000 subscribers but these are "dead" people who are not engaging and just sitting there. If your clicks are sh*t, everyone will know that your channel is not real. And those subscribers won't give you the most important thing: WATCH TIME
So let's go.
First, this is a screenshot of my FB campaign:
These $0.21 are important. For a basic traffic campaign, this would be quite a high CPC - since you're looking for low numbers here. But out of these 526 link clicks, I gained approximately 330 subscribers. You can do the math.
A few things you need to know: my channel has a really specific niche (education/history) and it's a German channel, this means my audience isn't that big and I believe, my costs would be even lower if I targeted an English speaking audience in a broader niche. So there's definitely room for improvement.
So, here's how I set up this campaign:
I won't tell you how to set up a business account or general things about FB ads, you can find a lot of guides for this.
My audience:
For targeting the right demographics on FB I had a look on the YouTube - analytics page, so I knew men between the ages of 34-65+ were most likely to click on the ad. I also know what kind of content they like to watch, read, listen to... You need to have a good understanding of your target audience for this method to work.
My campaign :
1. I created a FB page for my YouTube channel and added the page to my business account
2. I chose traffic as the campaign goal
3. I uploaded my channel trailer on FB and wrote an engaging title and description for the ad
4. (and I believe this is the little twist here) the link of my ad is a subscription link to my channel
This way whenever someone clicks the link, he/she will go to this page and will be asked for his/her subscription
The link looks like this: http://www.youtube.com/channel/REPLACE_WITH_ID?sub_confirmation=1 the ID is your channel ID (obviously
)
My ad also got a nice amount of likes and shares.
Results: My channel went from 310 to 618 subscribers in 2 weeks. My last 3 videos got between 400-2100 views organically. I also share them in groups, but around 11% of them came from subscribers.
This is no magic or anything, it's something that helps me and might give someone an idea
Have a nice day everyone.
