[GUIDE] Creating Reddit Accounts & Up-voting Posts for a BOOST of temporary traffic [GUIDE]

Regardless, they told me they don't accept it.

If you need proof, please see the email they sent me below.

Hello,

We accept a vast majority of social media for you to advertise on. All of which are in our operating agreement.

However; Reddit is not an approved social media source.

I hope this information helps.

We'd appreciate your feedback. Please use the buttons below to vote about your experience today.

That is fucked up.

So, it was a matter of getting on their radar.

So, it was a matter of getting on their radar.

Kind of, it was because people reported my amazon ID, as reddit users are smart and know amazon prohibits it.

i want to create Reddit accounts on my browser but a bit afraid for my main account may be ban, this will help as i have a Reddit upvoting bot just setting, will put it to work, thanks
What bot is it?

I'll keep this guide short and sweet. :)

In this guide, I'll tell you ways on how you can create Reddit accounts, manage them & up-vote any NEW post to push them in "HOT" & "TOP" categories for a boost of temporary traffic.

See..the way Reddit works is that if your newly created post gains enough traction, it'll move your post to both of those categories even bypassing posts that have high up-votes. I have been using this method to gain temporary traffic in any subreddit for over a year! Of-course to up-vote your new post immediately, you'd require at-least 5-10 AGED Reddit accounts.

Contents:
  • Creating Reddit Accounts & Aging them
  • Boosting Newly Created Posts
  • Extra tips
1. CREATING REDDIT ACCOUNTS & AGING THEM

Requirements:
  1. Install https://www.torproject.org/download/.
  2. Captcha solving skills (yes, you'll get a lot of captcha)
  3. A temporary mail service, I use https://anonmails.de/.
Why Tor? It changes IP each time you open a different browser so it kind of keeps you in the safe side, but trust me I have been using TOR so far to create accounts and nothing has really happened.

Instructions:

1. Go to https://www.reddit.com/ and click on sign up, input an email (you can add in any random email, you don't need to verify your account BUT using a temporary mail is recommended just to be on the safe side.) Choose a username & password, click sign-up.

2. Randomly choose at-least 5 communities.

View attachment 140841

3. Click on finish and verify your email. After verifying click on the message icon.

For each account you'd like to create, make sure to open a new TOR browser for a different IP & use different email as well. As for aging, before using these Reddit accounts wait at-least 2-3 weeks and let them age.

You can create 100's of Reddit accounts (if you are dedicated) using this method and let them age for a longer period of time so that you can then use them for up-voting your posts without any suspicion

2. BOOSTING NEWLY CREATED POSTS

This step is pretty simple, find any subreddit and make a post there from any of your aged Reddit account or an account that has high karma (preferable). After creating a post, open TOR browser for each account you want to login from, visit the subreddit, click on "New" and up-vote some posts or even down-vote them as to look like you are a real user browsing the subreddit.

After up-voting your post, wait 1 minute and open up another TOR browser with a different account and repeat the steps. This way your post will immediately hit the HOT / TOP category, minimum of 5 up-votes are required to achieve this task. Don't overdo it, once your post hits any one of those categories; stop up-voting.

3. EXTRA TIPS

1. Use an excel worksheet to manage your accounts, store your login details there along with email (you can re-create your emails even if they expire) and also add a column to check if your account is shadow-banned or not. To check if your account is shadow-banned, just visit the profile from a browser & if you can't find the user, then it means your account is shadow-banned.

2. Let the accounts age for a longer period of time (THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR HERE)

3. Make sure to manage all of your accounts once in a while. Interact in some subreddit, create posts and try to act like a user who browses Reddit in his free time. This is the best way to prevent your whole network of accounts from getting shadow-banned.

4. Do not up-vote your new post like crazy, once it hits any of the above categories; stop and enjoy the temporary traffic while it is still there. From there onward, it will depend on the users of the subreddit, whether they want to up-vote or down-vote your post.

Do you suggest any automation method for it?
I think Reddit API would not be of good choice, right ?

So let me guess you drove traffic to your Amazon affiliate website by upvoting review posts?

How did you manage to do it without getting banned from that subreddit?
And why Amazon banned you?

Yes,

And being banned was the interesting part on subreddit. I would still be able to upvote, so I would spam affiliate link with one account, upvote with the rest, once the account got banned, it would turn into an upvote account, and the 2nd upvote account would transition into a posting account. Repeat it, and I got an insane ROI on 50 accounts.

Amazon banned me because reddit is not an approved social media for amazon affiliates according to their operating agreement.

This was the way to do it a few years ago( check in jr. Vip zone).
Few things in your guide which are not correct.
  1. You do not need an email for reddit.(helpful but throwaway are blacklisted and will get you shadowbanned)
  2. Aging reddit accounts is not done how described above. You need to make a few comments or posts within a few days, before you can log off for a few weeks.
  3. Giving 5 upvotes to your posts with low karma accounts(same accounts upvoting the same user) will NOT bring you into HOT or RISING
  4. Low karma accounts they are upvoting the same user will NOT help you at all (all the fake votes will be removed.)
  5. Even if you followed my step 2 : your account will be likely banned due to using TOR and Throwaway email.
  6. Accounts idle more than 60 days will be shadowbanned (unless verified and last IP was residential)
  7. Accounts that are active again after 30 days of creation will be caught in the spamfilter (if they post/comment more than 5 times within 24 hours)
you can check this site for shadowban:
https://redditban.com/shadowban
Spamfilter are not detectable from underside you either need to be a moderator of your own subreddit or you have to post to a reddit-owned subreddit (like r/askreddit)

Sidenote : This is my experience of marketing on reddit for a few years, and being a reddit moderator for 2.6m members.

To avoid Amazon ban you can use a legit website (declared on Amazon) that automatically redirect to your Amazon link with a legit referer.

But you can't avoid redditors who directly complain to amazon ...

I have a question concerning multiple Reddit accounts creation, so you only need a new IP for each account that's all? Seems strange they don't check other things like browser ,screen definition , etc like every social network do to fingerprint you

I appreciate your reply, I really do but I may have to disagree with few of your points. I'll give out few of my accounts which I used to up-vote posts with, although I haven't used them for months as I haven't touched Reddit but they were always used to up-vote my posts.

Note: These accounts were created using the methods I described in this guide and are still alive and were not used for over a year or so.
  1. memerpsychologist
  2. iguymebuy
  3. yumehh2
  4. happiehgolucky
  5. ScreechingSnail059
All of them were created when I just starting testing out this method (which was probably an year ago), they were created using TOR + disposable email. There was one account that also had good karma (can't reveal this one; sorry). However, I'll make a test post in some sub-reddit and give 5 up-votes a try just to see if this method still works (my 5th account will be the main poster as it has decent karma):

1595908881099.png

It works, this post is in the third position in the "HOT" category and TOP 1 in the rising category, this post also beats the highest up-vote post (as mentioned in my guide, it sometimes works):

1595909025716.png

Please note that I don't use these accounts anymore and I have my own separate network of Reddit accounts which have their own private proxies + some are used to farm karma, but this guide was just meant to help you guys try this method out and experiment with it in your own way, see what works and what doesn't work. TOR isn't the only alternative available, if you want to hit the big spot; you'll have to invest in private proxies OR you could give rotating proxies a try.

Regarding your point 2, I did mention that you should sometimes post and make your account look like an active user.

BIG NOTE: The main role that this method plays is that it helps you GAIN USER TRACTION, the main factor here isn't these 5 votes, but the fact that you need the community's help to make your post stay in the top for a longer period of time. Also, this method works best for small subreddits, there are several ones like these that get daily traffic 24/7. Maybe big subreddits are a bit of a hassle, but in smaller ones this method will work and your post will remain in the top for some time unless or until it gains user traction. As I already keep saying, experiment in your own ways and figure out what works best and what does not.

On the other hand, I appreciate your tips; this will definitely help us all out with experimenting the best ways we can make use of Reddit .

Is there a way to automate account creation?

Not sure what you mean by the Reddit API, but the usual automation method is always a browser. People either use Selenium or Puppeteer to automate their tasks, I personally recommend Puppeteer a lot if you want to automate account creation or do various other tasks as it's very-very easy to use.

The usual method would be to create an automated browser that would go to Reddit.com, click on sign-up, input an email, username & password, use a captcha solving service and then click submit. However, automating this task requires you to experiment a lot since Reddit may hit you up with rate-limitation or some unusual error which is why you should use proxies when creating accounts.

Private proxies help a lot, you could also giving rotating proxies a try; but I'd recommend private ones any day if you really are serious about Reddit.

Old question but still wanna check this out, do you have this method experienced from posting viral article, adsense sites...
If this method does make sense to site like Adsense, what the scale it would be

If you mean if it would work for viral articles or ad-sense sites, yes you can use this method to drive traffic to your blog. Not sure what you mean by scale though, do you mean the amount of up-votes?

Yes I mean If you do work with many sites monetize solely adsense only, would it be a good idea to apply this method, I'm trying to do my math about this method, like if you want to bring 200k pageviews a day, say the numbers, what's the RPM and ads earn, I want to cal this out

This method will work as it brings you temporary traffic from social media or even more (if it gains enough traction from the users of subreddit). Also, your earnings solely depends on clicks, so if they do visit your site and read your article, it's up to them whether they want to click your ads or not.

I guess 200k pageviews might give you a high earning depending on your visitors, but you should also try to bring in traffic from other platforms instead of just Reddit. You could give affiliate products a try too provided they are related to your niche. I wouldn't only monetize my site with adsense though.

I would make a guide, but it would be a lot of effort and just get tons of people banned from the affiliate program, I see it doing more harm than good...
