I decided to make a post detailing a few tips that I highly recommend for those starting out with internet marketing and making money online. These are just some tips to keep in mind when you are starting your first projects, enjoy.
1) Just think and execute
When people start out they have a tendancy to ask a lot of questions and seek tons of information. I did this to, and in fact it's actually a great thing to do. But afterwards once you have all the information that you need, you should be executing. Don't try to formulate a master plan from start to finish. What you should be doing is taking things one step at a time and figuring out ways to overcome your obstacles. For example, if Facebook keeps flagging your accounts, how can you get around that? Maybe you're being flagged due to using the same IP over and over. Maybe the quality of your accounts are terrible. Maybe your actions on Facebook are triggering the flag. You need to sit down and address each issue that is causing you trouble when it comes to accquiring traffic. You then need to logically think about what may be potential reasons that are causing these obstacles. One way to test your potential reasons is to eliminate every step of the process until you see where exactly things start to fall apart. It sounds like common sense but still so many people don't do this, they keep doing the same thing, setting up their accounts in the same fashion, having their accounts or profiles get banned again, and then coming back to BHW to spam ask a bunch of questions. Just take a moment to think about what can be causing your issues. Look at what other people are doing. If you're spamming Facebook groups or forums with CPA offers, literally find examples of other people doing the same thing and try to replicate their set up.
2) Be creative and open minded
Be willing to try different and new things. So many times I would get laughed at or kicked out of Skype groups because people thought that the ideas/methods I was suggesting are too outlandish and wouldn't work. They would dismiss what I say as "trolling" and then boot me from their chats because they think i am a "troll". Then I turn around and test the "outlandish" ideas or methods that I thought of and all of a sudden I'm getting results. Internet marketing is fascinating in that you're rewarded for being creative. The point is to be open minded about EVERYTHING, you'd be surprised at what generates results.
3) Keep testing until you find something solid
Internet marketing is all about testing. How can I get more people to see my offers? What do people respond more to? How can I minimize the amount of actions my viewers take before they arrive on my landing page? How can I make it so that purchasing my product or completing my offer is a very easy process for the viewer? These are things you should be thinking about. You should also be testing various niches until you find something that works. In my opinion, if you are doing black hat marketing it's important to be able to test multiple things easily. You don't want to be invested on one niche and trying to make it work. Try different niches and see which one is best, that's why you need a set up that allows you to make changes on the fly. Manually making websites and buying domains for every single niche you want to test does not seem time efficient. You can get so much done using free websites or even direct linking your offers. Remember, the goal is to test different niches, settings, and set ups easily. This will especially help you when it comes to paid advertising. I know that testing multiple niches does not sound fun to most people, I didn't think so too because it seemed like a lot of work. What I wanted to do when I started was pick one niche and try to make it work no matter what, testing is very important though.
4) Don't get distracted
You want to be focused if you're serious about making money online and progressing. If you spend hours a day on the CPA chatroom on your network just trolling and typing away you are basically goofing around. You're not making real progress, you could be spending that time testing different niches or trying different things. Nowadays, I never chat on networks. I rarely even chat to people on Skype. I'm busy focusing, scaling, and making money. That's what you should be doing. You should be executing and taking action. Another thing you want to avoid is asking too many questions. Asking questions is great sure, but once someone starts asking questions they have a tendency to start unleashing a series of never ending questions because they think each answer is the key that they're looking for. I use to think this too. The truth is, ask a few questions to get the basic idea down, then go out there and start testing. You can find the answers to most of your questions on your own, you just need to be dedicated to make things work.
5) I don't recommend groups/skype groups
You've probably seen these groups before. Open skype groups, everyone is free to join. Soon these groups are flooded with 20,30,40,50+ people, 95% noobs that are brand new and joined hoping to get advice or tips. Groups aren't a bad thing, but you want to make sure that the groups you join are private, low-key, and high entry groups. You don't need a group of 10+ people to make money on the internet. In fact, you can make money by being in no groups. Most high rollers are the ones who literally don't talk to anyone and just sit on their computer earning and hustling all day on their own. Once again, if you do decide to join a group, I recommend it be very private and everyone in the group is already earning a good amount.
6) Be dedicated
Most people don't earn a single cent on the internet because they just don't care enough. They join a site like this, browse it for a day, entertain the thought of making some money online, and then leave to go back to their normal lives. You have to really want this, if you're half-assing or already making excuses you've already lost. You may be in a difficult time in which you are earning absolutely nothing right now and that's okay, I've been in that situation plenty of times. Testing a bunch of shit online, earning nothing, and then going to bed at the end of the day hoping that tomorrow I'll make some progress. Earning jack shit for a period of 1,2, or 3 months is fine. The key is that you still keep trying different things. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to make this work, you just have to be relentless and keep going even when you're in complete shit, that's really what it's all about.
