[GUIDE] Article Spinning

I'm sure this thread will definitely be goldmine for newbies and informative for people like me :P

This is a nice guide. However, It's not needed if you're not spinning for human readers. It really depends on what you're spinning for. Just thought I'd point that out.

Very details spinning guide, I think if you could give us some skill on spinning tools will be more great, thank you.

I'd like to warn you on that as a fellow internet marketer.

Ever since Panda 3.3, it has been RUMORED, I stress that out again because I can't say anything for sure at this point, RUMORED, that the MAJOR indicators to find sites and blogs that will get hit next are those that are high in duplicate content as well as very low in quality (Google has subject verb agreement indicators).

This might possibly explain the deindexing of MANY blog networks that accept poor spun content without any quality control.

Very good guide + rep given. Article spinning is a serious business that no one should take lightly.

Sorry I completely disagree.... your crap spinning will be seen by Google eventually and you won't get any value from any links you have coming from this junk.

I watched a video where someone was spinning an article by hand changing words, sentences and paragraphs. To the naked eye the results looked quite different and then she layered each spun article over each other and the layout of each article was almost identical. It was surprising how easily these articles could be spotted as being the same.

Sorry I haven't explained it very well. You really had to see the video in action to realise how futile spinning is when it's done poorly. She went on to show how spinning properly can make a real difference. When you start spinning html, anchors, images, video, dropping sentences and paragraphs you can really get some real high numbers of unique articles. These are almost impossible to detect. Unless you believe in ngrams...

I've been known to spend hours spinning one article but they last forever.

Here we have Google employing the greatest scientific minds in the world with a billion dollar budget and people thinking that clicking change my favourites in a $77 spinner is going to beat Google's people. I don't think so.

Link to the Video Would Be Great :D

Well I was a member of Link Dozer, you can Google it. But you would need to be a member at $97 a month. Do not sign up!!! The spinner software was a nightmare to work with, broken and neglected and the private network was crap. I was there 18 months ago and I see the owner has changed the domain name. Guess she got too much negative press.

But she was right about spinning, that's for sure. I haven't found the video anywhere so it probably doesn't exist any more which is a pity.

Is article spinning also a viable strategy to get lots of content on your site?

I don't recommend it. When it comes to site content, always go for unique content which no other site has. This will add more credibility for the visitors because they can easily detect whether or not the information is repeatedly posted for the sake of raising overall word count or not.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE: (Article with 2 sentence spins + light word spin)

((0 x 1) + (50 x 2)) x 2 = 100 x 2 = 200 UNIQUE OUTPUTS

Just wantd to show you the right way on how to calculate the unique results according to the Probability Theory which we all were learning in school.

Take a look at this example:

blahblahblah {word1|word2|word3} blahblahblah {word1|word2|word3|word4} blahblahblah {word1|word2|word3|word4|word5} blahblahblah

It has 3 spin word sequences of different lengths (3-word, 4-word and 5-word). There is an easy formula to calculate all unique outputs using the math power operation which value is equal to the number of words in each sequence. For the example below the formula will look like this:

(3^3+3^4+3^5)/3 = 117

One more example:

blahblahblah {word1|word2|word3} blahblahblah {word1|word2|word3|word4} blahblahblah {word1|word2|word3} blahblahblah {word1|word2|word3|word4|word5|word6|word7} blahblahblah

(4^3+4^4+4^3+4^7)/4 = 4192

etc...

etc...

Thanks for the calculation but I have tried that before but it fails... let me explain.

Knowing the amount of outputs which are considered "unique" is not as simple as creating a formula based on the presented spintax. We also have to consider UNIQUENESS.

The reason I gave that calculation above because we are keeping the quality at 70% uniqueness ALL THE TIME. Sure, I can simply do word spin on my article and that can produce 1000 outputs which have 1% uniqueness but we're trying to aim for QUALITY over QUANTITY.

Besides, the best one can do at this point in the Panda game is to make sure everything is passable. (Not saying low uniqueness won't count but taking the extra effort in securing your site's SERP is a good habit imo)

In my post above "word#" doesn't actually mean a single word. It could be a whole sentence or even a whole paragraph of text. Also don't forget that Spintax allows nesting.

Yes, nesting will make it even better but do you have any figure on how high is the uniqueness per xxx (number you put in the answers for your calculations)?

Depends of number and lenghs of blahblahblah's as well as the lengths of "words". I.e. the total % of content that will be replaced.
