Guest Posts or Link Insertion?

It depends what section of the website the link is located in and the quality/quantity of RDs to that page.

If you can get a link insertion on a high-traffic page which already has plenty of RDs, then that would be a good choice.

However, the guest post is likely going to be more relevant, and if the compared link insertion doesn't have any RD or is in a low-authority section of the website, then the guest post may seem more attractive, depending on the price and other factors.

Hello guys,

I hope everyone is doing great.

I've had my website for over three years but I'm just recently taking it serious.

I've only made cents but I'm excited to make my website grow.

I reached out to so many websites to guest post but the majority ask for an insane amount, some also offer link insertion (which is cheaper).

I'm just wondering is link insertion better than guest posting? What would be the difference?

Would love to know your opinion.
I think guest posting in the beginning and if possible then both

I have tried both in my linking strategy. But as mentioned by our fellow BHW members guest posting is costly and time consuming, whereas niche edit is affordable and quick. I suggest you to go with niche edit initially if you are short on budget, slowly you can think of guest posting. All the best mate :)

Just few words to make it clear:
Guest post benefit - you are able to place your link in a 100% contextual content which makes it perfect
Link insert benefits: 1) cheaper; 2) there is possibility to find an article which already has some traffic on it.

If the domain where you're going to place a link has good articles for link insertion - do it. Otherwise - guest posts.

Just want to tell you before paying for a link insertion or guest posting do check website traffic and Trust flow because I have seen many website with DA 70+ but they don't have any traffic on their website and also trust flow is 0

I agree with @MisterF . A mix of both is the way to go.

After you've been approved for the guest post, try to avoid sending through a shabby article. Make sure that the content is keyword researched and written in SurferSEO so that the article will eventually gain natural traffic. The traffic will benefit you with click-throughs and authority link juice to your site.

Try to find a keyword that matches the niche of the guest website and your website. That way, the webmaster is more likely to do an internal link to your article in the future, enhancing the authority of your link.

If you publish fresh content, you have to share it on social media to get some real traffic and mainly for fast index. Some guest post bloggers publish their articles on social media, so try to find such bloggers.

When you are moving to Link insertion, just confirm the post receiving regular traffic, related to your site and possible to insert your keyword(not the main keyword) in the article.

Guest posts allow you to insert keywords in the article title. It may take some time for your post to appear online as Google takes time to index the post.

Niche edits - You can't change the article title. But it yields almost immediate results as they are already indexed.

Guest posting is great if you're looking for a long-term backlink strategy. Niche edit links may be the perfect option, if you want instant backlinks. But I prefer both.

I think the content matters the most which makes thhem to click the link ,so better create useful content

Aged page will hopefully already have traffic, so link insertion is better.

But more context is needed to really determine one way or the other. Link insertion is not always better than a guest post but if domain strength and content relevance are equal then it probably is

For a website I've looked after for the last 8 years, I've never used guest posts - but that's not to say they're not worthwhile.

I've used sponsored posts (blogger writing a post relating to my business inc. links) and also link inserts. Both worked really well but link inserts are generally a little cheaper as there's much less work on the bloggers part.

It is much better to purchase link insertion services from web admins. It is way cheaper than guest posts. But, you can both purchase link insertion and guest posting to make more value.
