Sharecash doesn't allow adult sites so not sure how you pulled this off ?
Adult sites do not make much compared to mainstream sites per 1000 unqiues. But you have a much easier job getting 1000 UV's to an adult site then you do for getting 1000 UV's to a mainstream site.
If your running a free blog/site then if you can get around $3-$5 per 1000 uvs then you are probably getting every dollar available from your visitors. Generally though you will probably get around $1-$2 per 1000 uvs.

I used to run an adult video site a few years back and exploited traffic exchange to generate literally millions of visitors. I did not make that much money. I was paying $900/month for servers as far as I remember and I was making around $1400/month with cam, aff and banners. So +$500/month or so. CTR and CR were shit.

Depends on the sites. I run a tube site that gets about 1.2 million hits a day and it generates a couple grand per day.
I've got some adult sales pages that get less than a tenth of that traffic and make $10 000 to $20 000 a day.
Before you all come calling bullshit, do keep in mind there's alot of spending involved in making that kind of money as well, but there's still lots of profit.

Nice of you to post this - unfortunately most of the people here won't believe it, they're convinced that uniques=$$$$$ no matter what the type of site.

If that were the case I could setup any type of site, buy traffic and become an instant millionaire.
There's a fine art to getting the right type of visitor to your site, offering him what he may be interested in viewing and finalizing the sale.

nah no hard feelings. I've been in adult for several years and these type of speculative threads are always amusing. that said $500/day from a 30k video site is on the high end of believable and would certainly not be a typical result. if that 30k was all very well targetted SE traffic... in this market, depending on the niche... maybe.
a more typical 30k site with perhaps 5-10% SE traffic and a bunch of traffic trades would be lucky to make $500/month.
People in here talking about traffic trades and stuff are talking about the worst kind of adult traffic. In traffic exchanges many adult webmasters purposely setup their trades to only send out traffic from the shittiest countries. That way they get traffic coming in from good countries on other websites..but the traffic they are spitting out is from China and other small countries that don't convert.
If you plan on making money in the adult biz then you better work on good SEO. SEO traffic in the adult industry will convert. Traffic trades and link trades will just send you shit traffic you may make a buck or two from them clicking ads..but I wouldn't expect any pay-per sales or rev shares..
