*** Not an Investment Pitch, Just an Idea Forum, Not Asking For Money, Just Ideas ***
*** I'm working on this concept for a marketing firm ****
*** GROSS PROFIT: Defined as profits before taxes and amortization ***
The title is a little deceiving but wanted every to read this and offer some insight.
I had an idea to develop the "limited" risk $100K $250K ($300K, $500K Whatever) pay day.
I need some feedback on this offer I'm building for a client....
What if...
There was a way to get a $250K contract that was backed by a reputable companies and you have a supply, and distribution deal for set region. And lets say this business required maybe 10-15 hours a week of your time, and management, processes, and systems were outsourced.
And lets say you could buy the business setup, contracts, and revenue generating for under $100K + royalties.
Heres the kicker ....
What if all you had to do was pay $5,000 down, and put the other funds in YOUR own escrow with whatever law firm, or 3rd party escrow agent everyone could agree on. At the end of 30,60,90 days or whatever you will get an entire business setup with LLC, corporate structure, bank accounts, merchant account, call center reps, scripting, everything to fulfill the contract. And the business will already be generating $ when you take over at around $250K net a year. Only costs would be the entry which is held by a lawyer until all documents, legal, revenue etc was delivered, and financial "Audited" by a cpa to sign off on.
And you have to kick up 25% of the "gross profits" every year to the parent license company.
Would you do it If you had the money?
What features could I build in to make it even better?
Am I under charging or overcharging?
FAQ:
1. Yes the product is legal
2. This would be a US based operation
3. The consultant HAS done it himself several times, but wants to expand faster. And honestly enjoys his freedom, and wants to turn his network, contacts, and contracts into residual money. More residual money.
4. Yeah its $25K but dang your making $250-$300K a year. Broke players go home, this is business.
5. The escrow would be with a REAL licensed lawyer, not funny business when we deliver a revenue producing business contracted and ready to go.
6. Yes it will really require 5-6 hours a week.
Feedback I'm looking for ...
1. Interesting ways to get people interested to do it
2. From a marketing, perspective what features, or benefits am I missing or need to add
3. Any feedback or suggestions
Key Points
- Lawyers are involved, real ones. Bring your own to the party. Scammers don't have attorneys.
- Yes I have my own damn money, I'm not looking for investors. I'm selling my system.
- The money is ESCROWED until all performance pieces are delivered.
- Kinda like a franchise. I'm licensing my system to people with the money, and brains to run it. No it's not for noobs.
- Offline Business
