Please update the newest version (v1.2.9.1), its fixed already.

Noghing is fixed Hawke.

I tested one set of proxies (1.5k google passed) in Gscraper and custom made scraper:
Gscraper - 20k lpm
Custom scraper ~150k lpm

Before latest google update Gscraper and custom scraper were giving similar lpm on this proxies.
Now lpm is very different. I belive thats because google detects Gscraper.

It is possible that Google detects Gscraper. This is the code for the headers that GScraper uses for the user agent:

These are all user agents to Tencent Traveler ( http://www.useragentstring.com/pages/Tencent Traveler/ ). However, in Hawkes defence, Tencent Traveler is a hugely popular user agent in China ( https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tencent&redirect=no ). It would be unlikely that Google would detect this. There is also some chatter on the internet about the user agent: https://www.webmasterworld.com/search_engine_spiders/4000999.htm

It would be nice if Hawke modified the source to randomly, or even sequentially use user agent strings from the many browsers available, but I do not see it to be much of an issue in detection.

well i tested and got 1000 proxies from my port scanned proxylists, a list that went
to my subscribers for gscraper users was used for this test, only i noticed since update is, LPM is dropping
way to fast, starting at 110k and falling to 30-40k quite fast. this didnt happen b4.
so i agree with satyr LMP since update have fallen. with a hard scrape it started at 40k dropped to
20k after 2/3 mins, the LPM was alot higher b4 the the update

My average LPM is now only 5k, used to be a constant 40k+ that would stay like that for days without stopping GS so something is definitely wrong here.

looking into this further i had a chat with hawk gscraper maker via pm
i told him the issues since the update the LPM had fallen alot he said must
be my keywords blah blah ect ect, he also said and i quote

I have few time in BHW, and if you have any other question just sent
email to us. Or you can add my personal Skype

also checked his sales thread which opened aug 2013, he last posted on it
sept 2013, even a bhw vip called crusher remarked in dec 2014

Looks like this thread is being ran by us while Op is nowhere to be found.

i get the impression he opened a sales thread aug 2013, last replied on it sept 2013
but uses the adds on his sales thread to bounce people to his buy site page
never replies on his sales thread and even i was shocked to get this via pm today

I have few time in BHW

if you have a sales thread on bhw, sell a product on bhw you dont tell your customers
you have no time for them, as well as abandoning the sales thread 1 month after
launch in 2013 and pm on skype or via his website.

in his own words, he advertises here, but hes rarely here sums it up

Here is mine. Totally terrible.

Does not make a difference even if I put my dedicated proxies in. So proxies are not the problem.

I still have this problem. Once I go to a lower version it works fine, but with very low speed. Opened the newest version by accident and the software binded itself automatically, have to wait 30 days before I can go back..

When will GScraper finally fix this? Just bought the program like a week ago.
No replies on e-mails, they did not accept me on skype.
& I also still get the 7 days additional services for free, which is included when you buy.

alot of people having same issues, no response to emails
url rate broken since last update, sales thread abandoned for
2years, which has now been locked, hawk never replys to anyone
i even tried speaking with him on skype, his grasp of english was small
said he didnt have much time for skype, even though he told me to
message him there, i told him many people are complaining that url
rate is broken since last update all he said was , are u saying is gscraper fault.
i dont think he understood what i was saying......i asked him to take a look
at the software to see what broke the url rate on the last update he went
silent......no wonder mods locked his sales thread

ive come across many people who are struggling to scrape with any type
of proxie, what makes it worse is, there support isnt replying to some people
and all this started after last update.

advise anyone with low url rate issue to report it to [email protected]

wouldnt worry seems common , took me 2 weeks to get a reply on skype
emailed support 3 days ago no response
i no 1/2 vips have emailed them and tried skype over the last week no reply.
draw your own conclusions , pay me for my software then a wall of silence

another update some brought this to my attention regarding gscraper so i tried it

my proxy lists comprise of 2 sets proxies ports example 8080 3128...........since the last gscraper update has
broken url scraping what i have also noticed is this........prior to last update just over a week ago my
proxies worked fine in gscrper, since the new update v 1.2.9.1 will NOT use proxies :8080
but v 1.2.8.3 will use :8080 proxies . so as stupid as it this sounds , they have broken using 2 types of
proxies. stupid

ps the 8080 3128 was an example, in other words i can place a list of proxies in the old version
1283 and the work scrape fine, i put same proxies in v 1291 they dont scrape at all...

also cudos to trevorb for spotting this.

I have also sent Howke a message on Skype but no reply yet about this real messed up problem.

I'm sure that this will be an easy fix on his part, but just to get him to fix it I guess will be the biggest problem.

i waited 2 weeks for a skype reply after he told me to message him on skype
emailed there support last week no reply, i no u emailed there support last week
and also got no reply, just like his bhw sales thread opened in 2013 then abandoned
with no replys to buyers in just short of 2 years. seems happy to take your money
for gscraper but support is non existent

i will be checking this new update within the hour.

the issue with gscraper was a 2 issue problem.

1 - slow url speeds from v 1.2.8.3 to v 1.2.9.1

2nd issue was v 1.2.9.1 was ignoring certain proxies that still worked
in V 1.2.8.3. i had over 800 proxies scraping nothing in 1291 that still
work fine in v 1283. i will update in 1 hr how its going , gotta scan some
proxies first

i checked all my proxys on the new update hawk over 1000 worked
non where ignored. url rates back to almost normal from 5k last month
to 60-70k.

still trying yesterdays update v 1.3.0 - things seems to be holding well
1million urls in 10mins av speed 70-80k urls a min.

but i just logged on today and saw gscraper have put out another
update in 2 days, lets hope this hasnt broken yesterdays update that seemed
to have fixed everything. new update is v 1.3.0.1 will post some results shortly

im happy to report the new gscraper update today has not broken anything i can
see from yetserdays update, url rates on either yesterdays or todays update seem
unafected.

ty hawk...took a while to get people to believe there was an issue
but at least its now fixed. ty hawk.

red arrow good luck getting a reply, i waited 2 weeks on skype
and 2 emails to there support took 10 days to reply.
