So I was all ready to get GSA going tonight on a server I have setup at my house, but doing a little further research I found that it's going to be a bandwidth hog. I would like to run GSA 24/7 so there's no way around getting a VPS when I have a 750 gig limit each month. I'm trying to keep my VPS budget as tight as possible so if anyone could suggest inexpensive quality VPS services that work well with GSA it would be appreciated.

Can I get by w/ 2 gigs of ram?

The Jew in me is very attracted to this $14/mo service. It's "unmetered", but caps at 40TB which I think is more than enough.

Please let me know what you think. I don't want to pay more than $30/mo and I'd like to run 250 threads.

UPDATE:

Also considering http://trustvm.com/ - Their virtual machine pro package looks pretty good for $25/mo

try getting a vps from poweruphosting, been using it for more than a year now.
Is there anything special about this host? Seems like your standard 2gig ram VPS for $30/mo. I'm trying to get a bit more bang for my buck if possible.

Actually support from a guy named Patrick on Skype is really worth the money spent inmo. There has been instanced when he helped me a lot with the setup and tweaks.

Thanks I'll keep this host in mind, going to keep browsing for a bit. TrustVM is still looking good, but I'm not sure how good their support will be. Ideally I'm looking for more than 2gigs for under $30. I'd like the server to be able to handle at least 250 threads w/o any problems.

I'm new to GSA so 2gigs may be plenty, but I'm just trying to avoid any future problems due to resources if possible.
