GSA Search Engine Ranker worth it?

around 24 h , but before yesterday I was having much better results as you can see from the screen cap...

Yes. I've noticed this happening with some of my projects. 1000+ submitted links and around 100 - 200 verified.

It really seems to vary from keyword to keyword. It also depends on how many platforms you are using. I found that if I select forum profiles I get a lot of submissions and few verifications...so I usually leave forums off.

Also, a few hundred links is pretty good. I think we are moving away from the days of needing thousands and thousands of links. With GSA we get a lot of link diversity, so that makes a lot of difference.

All that said, the results you are getting are pretty much the same as what I get.

Thanks Kendra I would like to say that GSA its worth much more than what we payed.. and the guy at support is really an amazing one .

Is there a maximum amount of keywords you can import.
Just tried 100 and everything went ok.
Tried 57k and its locked up and crashed

You increased the number of keywords by 570 times directly.
Na I doubt there's a limit, but 57k is a little too much. I think I did 1.7k and it didn't crash. Try 5k

When I have done any keyword importing since the "always use keywords" box has been there, the number of keywords never rises
It shows ##/585 ## is a random number depending on the project

Bit to close to the magic time of day now
My check for updates finger is on a mission
Thats normally when I make any changes each day

BTW, I remember reading that at some point we would be able to spin usernames.
Is that effective yet?

User name spinning has been in place for a week or two and works well.
You can also spin your location, which is another bonus for hiding your foot print

Taken my slacker hat off today

3.24 - new: text length of really huge spin syntax is only calcualted when you click
on the counter label.
- new: a new directory engine "IndexScript" added
- new: over 20 engines improved

What is the best combination of plattforms for a project? Someone said that if we check "Skip sites with PR below 1" we might miss a lot of bookmarking sites, because a lot of the pligg bookmarking sites have a PR of 0 or N/A.

So let's say I want to setup one GSA campaign for a client's niche website. What plattforms should I check for this campaign?
Or is it better to create different projects for a campaign (like one bookmark project, one wiki project and so on) to be able to change the options individually on a project basis. This way I could set up a bookmarking project that also scrapes PR0 sites but at the same time scrape Wikis with a PR 2+ for example. I guess you know what I mean.

But what is the better way to rank a niche website for a medium competitive keyword, combine and check all different plattforms and start this huge project or split it into different smaller projects.

I am still voting for a best practice guide guys - maybe Scritty and s4nt0s (or another experienced user) can team up and sum up a quick best practice guide with settings (when to check a specific option on the options panel and when not), campaign setup and tips for different scenarios (with different campaign settings).
I would pay for it and I guess a lot of newbies here would, so please guys, think about it.

There's no cut & dry answer to this. You need to develop your own set of best practices and throw some randomness into the mix, because if you do everything the same way all the time in such an orchestrated manner you are going to get burned in the future.

A lot of what you're looking for is in this thread, and you really need to read it. If you've done so, read it again. There have been so many helpful hints from s4nt0s, Scritty, and others that you should have been able to develop your own set of parameters that work.

Ok that sounds like a doable thing. I just thought that you need to write 50 to a 100 generic comments in order to start and I thought ok that is what Sven did already so why bother, but as always Scritty you are absolutely right.

Question. I understand about writing my own comments that are related to my niche, but many links are created on blogs that are not keyword related. This would leave me with a keyword targeted comment on an unrelated blog. Its gonna look like spam and won't stick. Any thoughts on that?

Are the backlinks created be SER better than ones from SENukex? I had a blast of over 1200 links from SENukex done to a youtube video and it didn't do squat.
The links composed of
Social Networks: 104
Web 2.0: 208
Forum Profiles: 826
Article Directories: 73
Press Release: 38
RSS Feeds: 17
Has anyone used SER to move a youtube video up in the serps? Or maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree, that backlinks to a video isn't what moves it in the serps.

Can you purchase at a discount or just from the site?

Just curious.

Thanks.

You are right when you say that everybody needs to find his or her own strategy to not leave a huge footprint and so make it harder for Google to deindex or devalue the links, but I guess it would not be a problem to sum up the best settings in one place and make give some advice for different scenarios. I read this 27 page thread, some pages a couple of times, and I still do not know what would be better, that is why I asked. Don't know if it would be so hard to just sum up the best settings in one little PDF and then we can talk about best practice tips for different scenarios in another bhw thread. Just my 2 cents. And I really like what Scritty, s4nt0s, you and all the others do here, but the information is hidden and spread among 27 pages, why not combine them and help newbies along the way?
