GSA Search Engine Ranker worth it?

No you can't. I asked Steve and it's only one license per PC. If you install it like that their system picks it up and I think one gets blocked.

What configuration do you have to create 5000 links per day?

I only can create 200- 400 per day with gsa running 24 h per day.

Maybe is because i dont use captcha services.

Any one knows if its possible to have two gsa running at the same time in two pcs with one license?

Thanks Genesis, but how did you back up the projects?

I had this problem a little while ago. I turned the setting on to let gsa use new scraped keywords. But that didn't help. Then I noticed some more errors so I backed up my projects then used revo uninstaller to uninstall gsa than reinstalled it. This seemed to work. Might not fix your problem but it fixed mine

Well I decided to give this a try. Would anyone know why i'm only getting links from Guestbooks, Wiki's and stat sites? I'm not getting any verified links at all from Bookmarks, video, image comments etc. etc.

Run/ Appdata - Roaming/GSA Search Engine Ranker/projects.
Save the folder named projects.

I did exactly as Genesis suggested and uninstalled with a free version of Revo uninstaller then downloaded and reinstalled.
Did not start GSA on the end of install, just closed it. Copied over projects by using the run command then typing appdata opened up the profiles folders, chose -
Roaming/GSA Search Engine Ranker/projects
copied projects folder back and hey presto GSA is flying again.

Thanks Genesis, but how did you back up the projects?

I got more of them at first, but now I am also seeing a steady trickle of the other platforms like image comments & bookmarks (don't use video yet). I think it may be because I have just posted more of the Guestbooks, Wiki's and Stat sites overall initially.
It seems like it's clearing out a backlog. Either way I'm happy as it's working its magic once again.

Sven did email me to say the slow down in posting is most likely a proxy or keyword issue which I wondered at, but I had changed these and it did not affect my posting slowdown so kudos once again to Genesis for this handy fix.
I hope it keeps going now.

does anyone run several urls in the same project?

i setup 8 projects with 8 urls but same keywords and email but the submitted / verified are way out, must be verifing the wrong link etc?

Scraping niche-related comments is something I should be doing. I'm assuming you're using SB for that. Can you explain precisely how you use SB for that?

Ye just using SB alright and scraping wordpress blogs/websites using my leywords and grabbing the comments from them and spinning them with "everybody's favourites" in TBS then..For me its marijuana niche so plenty of comments on wordpress sites and all so handy enough but bit of a pain in the tits spinning tho cuz my TBS is bit buggy and will only let me spin 3 or 4 hundred comments at time

Anybody any ideas on how to scrape generic forum comments?!

P.s Are you all using a href's in your comments to place your link on guestbooks ye?! Tested one earlier and seemed to be the only way to get link from it so guessing il have to add links to my guestbook comments to get {more} links from them?!

Got an answer back from sven on the whole spin passwords and forum nick thing

we are aware of this problem. In the latest version you get warned if you use spin syntax where it is not allowed. For now you can use spin syntax on almost any forum engines for the forumnick. Though this might change for new forums that get added. But we have this "save random login data for later use" on our to-do-list as well and get that hopefully added soon.

This software keeps getting better :)
Have learnt to code CMSes with it now too which is really good for hitting the unspammed ones you find from time to time.
Also found one which was a little too tricky which Sven has just added to General Blogs so should see it in the next update.

I'm starting to have the slowdown issue now which is a bit of a pain as I don't want to backup and reinstall just yet. Hopefully this will be fixed in future versions.

Does anyone have any decent verified lists they are willing to sell? If so shoot me a PM as I'm looking to build a huge list of AA targets.

3.05 - new: improved PLIGG engine a lot
- new: Blogs with JoomlaComment are now supported by the General Blogs engine
- new: improved script engine again (speed and functionality)
- new: improved gui in project options

Guys:

What do you use when the project slows down?

After a while GSA stops creating links to the project. I have a project stuck at 792 links and perhaps I get 1 or 2 links more per day.

I added more keywords as suggested in this thread but I saw no changes with it.

Any ideas other than creating a new project?

Add your own lists.

My method (more or less the opposite of what everyone else does)

Scrape a few 100,000 sites across various formats with scrapebox, there is a file in the GSA install folder with all the footprints you need. Use these EXACTLY for best results with GSA - use maybe 3000+ keywords .

  • Remove dups
  • Check for PR
  • Ditch anything with blank or zero PR
  • Export the rest

Have GSA (or scrapejet - or NHSEO if you've scraped footprints for those - this works for all these aps) set up

  • Post for domain PR1 or higher
  • OBL <=200
  • Enable Captcha support
  • Don't bother with proxies (you only really need them to scrape a list - and you already have your list)
  • Set for more than one URL to post to (import a file with scrapejet, go to options and "add pages" with NHSEO - similar with GSA)
  • Add custom comment (very well spun - millions of perms preferably - a 20 minute job with a decent spinning tool)
  • Add stack of keywords (minimum 10 more like 20) related to your niche

At the end of an original scraped 300,000 list (which takes ages due to captcha and other issues) you'll likely have 500 links

BUT....

They will be on decent sites with authority.
If you check after doing this you might find 40% of them are on fantastic PR2+ sites where your link is on it's own or with only a couple of others. You'll also get more links over time as some pass through the admin or akismet or whatever becasue you wrote a decent comment.

I've found that this gives in the long term massively better results than hitting 300,000 auto approve sites that are already full of spammy crap and have an average PR across the range of barely a decimal point above 0

That's it.

Repeat abount every 3 months with a fresh list per site (so if you've got a dozen sites or so this will be working almost constantly) remember to spend a day now and again getting and filtering fresh lists.

It's not quantity - it's quality.
NHSEO, Scrapejet and GSA are all very capable of getting quality if you use them properly

And before you ask - I don't post using Scrapebox because it's slow poster (which you need to use for the better sites) is browser based and no matter how much you mess with the security settings in IE, at some point your going to have a certificate or security issue pop up and stop your posting. Even with SENukex's popup blocker on this will still happen most nights at some point. It's frustrating to be watching your server all day and see no issues, then fire up your serverthe next morning to see it stopped 30 minutes after you went to bed.

NHSEO, SJ and GSA don't have this issue.

Great tutorial Scritty. I do the same thing but without filtering out spammy sites for quick, short term rankings.
Have you had any issues with GSA still purging keywords during posting? Not sure if it slows it down at all but always seems to grab new keywords even without the box ticked to do so.

Where is the file with all the footprints? Or do you just manually pull them from each .ini file in the engine folder?

nice post scritty, a few things for me try, do you post to guestbooks and forums using GSA? if so how do you stop it constantly asking questions about categories or select geust book etc?

I really really need to get to grips with scrapebox thou, i so not using it to it full potential!

In your project options you select, "If a form field can't be filled (like categories) Choose Random". Then in the main options menu where captcha, indexing and all that is, you go to captcha and uncheck the last box at the bottom that says, "finally ask user if everything else fails (else the submission is skipped)".

That should do the trick.

You are the man cheers, i didn't notice that!

I had unchecked "finally ask user if everything else fails (else the submission is skipped)" but it kept asking me and was driving me nuts.. :headache:

seems to be doing well today 300+ verified across 9 projects (8 are the same nice but different 2.0's couldn't work out how to do 1 project with 8 urls?)

Go to your Project edit and where you entered your Main Url There should be a little drop down box on the right of that. Click on that and it'll give you option to import from a file etc. etc. I just save my URLS that I want it to work on in a txt file than import that.

Thanks for the update(s) Regarding new versions. Now only if others update their programs this much I.E. Captcha Sniper.
