GSA Search Engine Ranker BEST SETUP

Hi Guys...
i want to share my setup for that tool with you... maybe we can find out a good one for nice success rates.

My machine:
Windows 2008 VPS
1,5 Ram
100Mbit Internet

I am using GSA in Combination with Captcha Sniper and 20 private proxies.

Now the Setup:

Options:
- Submit backlink urls to blog search engines _ checked
- use gsa seo idnexer _ unchecked
- use proxies _ everywhere
- threads _ 50
- html timeout _ 30
- use captcha sniper
- finally ask user if everything ese fails _ checked

Project Options:
- I use blog comments, guestbook, image comment, indexer, referrer and trackback

- multiple urls
- keywords _ i added 10 - 20 ( not sure about that )
- normal spinned texts

- skip sites with more than _ unchecked
- skip sites with a pr below _ unchecked
- pause the project after _ unchecked
- avoid posting url on same domain twice _ unchecked
- ask user and /or external service to fill captcha _ checked
- try to skip creating nofollow _ unchecked
skip sites where the following words appear _ unchecked
- search engines to use _ I added all Engines and also analyse and post to competitors backlinks

Overnight, lets say after 8 hours, i got about 500 new submitted links and 100 of them are verified... i think thats very poor...

whats your way of running this tool and what are youre success rates...

would be really happy to hear from you guys...

Maybe its because not many people uses this software but I've heard a lot of good things about it + its a German tool = Big PLUS !

My verified rate is similar to yours, I only do 10 threads though on a similar VPS box after 4 days running I have 2700 submitted, 927 verified. I also don't use a captcha service

This is for 9 sites using proxies for everything.

I want to have an automated trickle of links from a variety of sources so this rate is perfectly fine for me.. if i wanted a blast I just use scrapebox which I also purchased.

I think the software is great, a specific user forum might be a nice addition though such as the WPRobot forum which has also contributed to an amazing product being made by some German bloke

one n00b thing i realised today... I remember when creating the profiles it said all fields spinnable.... so I put the keywords in spinnable format... DOH!, today changed to comma delimited , getting links faster now LOL

Do you tick all the captcha types in Captcha Sniper?

Here are my settings, and as you can tell, I go for high PR with mine. I don't use CS either as I tend to not find a ton of links, but when I do, I want them solved 100% and not worry about failover to another captcha service.

I think if you are looking for optimised set ups you should get the coffee on and have a good read through the 40 odd pages of the sales thread for the product.. Theres some great info in there from guys who know what they are doing..I'm only playing with the software at present but using a similar set up to you I would expect 150-200 verified per 1000 submits.

That's using shared proxies I was going to run some dedicated proxies this week and was kind of hoping it would hit turbo but looking at your figures maybe not.

I will be testing it it with more retraints in place this week ie higher page rank. Targeted country specific search engines and avoiding linking anywhere with over 50 obls so Im sure the hit rate will drop a lot but even just run out of the box the links I get are a good mix with some real good ones dropped into the mix.

Love the tool need to watch the YouTube videos and learn a bit more

Are people running GSA SER on their personal machines without VPS or dedi? Cody, in a 24 hour period with your setup, how many verified links are you dropping??

Yesterday I made around 35 on a laptop at the house. Mind you, it's all PR3+ (for the most part). So not a *ton* of links, but that's not what I'm going after. It's funny, I actually got an email back from a webmaster who played right into one of the automated comments! He liked the fact I took the time to see his website template and make a comment on it..kinda funny

I've seen this too. Always makes me smile when a webmaster replies to a comment.

The best comment is the one about how they stop spam, that gets a lot of approvals and blog owners replying with tips

The set up is about the opposite of how I use the tool
I've posted my set up on this forum many times in the past. It's about getting a few dozen high PR links on good platforms with low (oe no) existing OBL's with a good range of anchor text and using uinique targeted content for context.

I don't want 500-1000 shit links a day on auto approve sites full of other people's cruddy spam, porn,viagra links
I wouild rather get 50-100 links a day on great sites with high PR, good traffic levels and in great neighbourhoods using decent (but spun) sontent that will still be there in years to come.

Each to their own I suppose.

I'm with scritty. High PR and low OBL with relevant comments (or at least sensible, legible English). Untick both 'collect keywords from target sites' and 'use collected keywords to find new target sites'. I also make sure 'Always use keywords to find target sites' is ticked. I mainly stick with blog comments and trackbacks, then chuck in some social signals now and again, or use senuke for small social campaigns.

I'm also getting replies back from webmasters. I even had one guy come to my site and post a message of his own, as the blog comment I placed was relevant to both our sites in the same niche. He's now following me and even 'liked' my facebook page. Nice guy, fair play. Had a little chat with him via facebook.

What do you guys class as good platforms and the platforms you avoid

For first tier links I use high PR and low OBL with large banned words list. For second tier I lower pr and have no OBL requirement and get rid of banned words list

I am using GSA Search Engine Ranker on a VPS (running Windows Server 2003 with 1GB RAM) thats located in Germay.

Everything else is disabled but I plan on buying GSA SEO Indexer because out of the 2000+ backlinks I created so far, not one of them is showing up as an actual backlink on Google yet (but whats shown in a "link:" Google search might not be true and it can also take 2+ weeks for Google to update them).

Filter
Everything is disabled

Advanced
I dont think this section really matters cause it just deals with generating reports and debugging

As for a review of the software itself, I think its great and is does its job. The one advantage that I really like about GSA Search Engine Ranker is that everything is coded in Delphi, unlike pretty much all of the other SEO tools that use Internet Explorer and that really eats up alot more resources (especially if your running it on a VPS). Another plus about it is that it uses search engines to create backlinks (unlike the others that just use lists of URLs) and this is great because you know that your getting backlinks from websites that are already indexed on search engines.

Does anyone know if it's possible to use a catchall with GSA? Like in Ultimate Demon, you can specify an email like whatever-at-mydomain which just forwards to real-at-gmail but is able to filter only those emails sent to whatever-at-mydomain for verification purposes. This is really nice in UD and want to know if GSA can do the same.

Right now I"m using the same email for all my campaigns.
