Growing Twitter 10,000+ Followers

Hi, what's up guys.

I've had a twitter account since 2010 I have a hard time getting followers to engage with my content. I have 10,000 followers with 9,000 being real. I hardly get retweets and favorites. What should I do to take my page to the next level and gain more followers and reweets. Not really so focus on earning money jusy yet, just want a solid page first. I've seen people said they bought engaged twitter followers, retweets and favs but i'm not sure as to how that could help if the followers are fake.

Post interesting tweets and photos. Post what you think people like you would retweet or like. Other accounts join a group for RTs and likes.

Add related people. Follow related people. Participate in Hashtag contests and keep yourself updated with the news! You can gain visitors when you start posting daily news in your opinion

Totally agree! I tried that and it's slightly growing follower and retweet too. Just try to post some and figure out the way to engage your followers and retweet as well.

For increasing twitter followers, either you have to engage on tweets or use some tools get more followers.

I have solid experience with all social media platforms and Twitter is by far the slowest one for me, in terms of growth. Not sure why. Instagram is way easier to grow ....

I completely disagree, Twitter has huge potential. You just have to stick at it and tap into the viral potential.

You should unfollow any/everyone that doesn't follow back if you haven't. The next step after that is to unfollow anyone that hasn't tweeted in 30 days.

I really suggest posting viral pics and memes. Or funny/relatable/inspirational pics with captions and things of that sort. People don't like to read tweets. People like visual media. I'd suggest following people's followers that are related to your niche..If you don't have a niche, the dreaded #teamfollowback method might produce better results. But you'll get a ton of bot followers that way.

Check your DM's, you'll see people asking you to join their little promo groups. Most likely you'll end up joining a TweetDeck this way. I'd say go for it. Basically what this means is you'll join people's groups and retweet each other's stuff. If you're in a group of 10 people that each have 10,000 followers you have access to a network of 100,000 followers. You retweet yourself from their pages via TweetDeck and your engagement will go up.

Rinse and repeat the process. Including the following and unfollowing. Hope this helps.

First things first: what is your final goal?

-- if you only want to appear active and influent: you should care high engagement
-- if you want to monetize / drive trafic to your site: you should care about conversion rate

These two things are not always related. Of course, an active account will drive trafic, but posting funny images and getting hundreds of retweets may not guarantee that people will visit your site.
