Growing a youtube touristic page

I have a youtube channel dedicated to a country beloved by a lot of Americans for some reason, and I am trying to grow it from 0. I have generated about 1000 shorts of how to pronounce local towns, which some can be tricky. I have uploaded about 100 shorts as of now, but unfortunately, I am not getting my videos pushed by the Youtube algorithm.

Should I keep going, or should I change my strategy?
Perhaps I could diversify a bit?

Currently everybody has such problems with youtube. Youtube has changed something within their youtube shorts algorithm. Have also tried uploading some longer video. Channels with one longer video like 5 minutes are still gaining a good amount of views

I have currently the same problem. I will upload some longer videos and try to link to them in my shorts.

I have seen many "walking" channels. You can buy a GoPro, stick it to your chest and walk around your city and interesting places.
