Hi everyone! Over the past couple years I've lurked but I decided that it was time to finally join the community.

I'm researching how to grow my blog and social media. I'm a DIY kinda gal and instead of having someone just do it for me (with imaginary $$ I don't have) I'd like to learn a little more about what I can do myself—maybe with a little help :)

I'm looking to improve my blog, SEO, Pinterest (clueless here), Instagram engagement and hashtags (can you even grow without a bot these days?) and the like. I've been at it for a few years now but I feel like I'm doing everything wrong—or could be doing a lot better.

Any tips for a newbie would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not. I'm complete dummy when it comes to pinterest and I know it's a huge traffic generator. I have a pinterest and occasionally pin a photo and add a couple from my blog but I'm clueless. I need to get started ASAP.
 
Welcome! You can start with the White SEO page and search for Pintrest for some more information.

Pretty well so far. I have a small AA site going getting about $25 a month earnings. For me this is huge, especially when I take my on-tech, non-computer background. I started from scratch having to learn about hosting, website building, content, seo, etc, etc, etc. I have not broached social media, backlink building or stuff like that for the site yet because I am focusing on getting more great content on it and continuing to get the on-page/on-site seo right first.

I guess I should start a journey thread about it. These youngun's around here go through a journey so fast though, I think mine would be like watching paint peel. lol
