I drive by a school every work day and I see a sign that says "Improve Your Student's Reading Skills" in the median (grass beside the road)
and a domain www. effectivereading.com.

Talk about hitting your target audience! These guys and girls have it down.

Then they ruin it with their crappy website.

oh-well

I really don't understand why you call this a bad website. Old design? Yes. But it is a very straight forward website which I would believe have decent conversions.

I've gotta hand it to them, it is good marketing.
Website is very stale looking, for sure. Which I don't think will do anything positive for their targeted demographic (youth, presumably).
Approach them for a redesign with SEO upsell and everybody wins :D

Actually they are targeting the parents of students

Good point. That was kind of silly of me to say - I should have read the post more carefully before giving my 2 cents.
Regardless, a stale website is good for nobody. Get in there and flex your marketing illusions!

I have this idea :) To make some signs like : "Sign Our petition" "Clean our roads from Tolls" notols.com :) And when they go to the website they will have to fill CPA offer :)

I agree, there site sux...they should have a lead capture landing page offering a free report about how their program will help increase the kids reading level

Their site is actually pretty straight forward. It's easy to find info about the company and their contact information. The design is 5-6 years old which means the person doing it is in their 40-50's and is either an old tech-guy, a teacher, or mother with older children.
