Great offline method! Im working it now!

Is anyone making money with this method? just wanted to ad something to it.

When you print your fliers you don't have to print a whole page flier you can actually half it and get two fliers per page that cuts your cost in half. All you do is cut the fliers in half with a paper cutter. You can also do the fliers on colored paper if you like.

Also your sending them to a website with your link on the flier. Once there you can do many things to monetize. You could capture emails with a form to be notified of more coupon deals. You could have a qr code on the site and the flier so they can access from their smart phone. I think that one rocks watching tv and scan your qr and they are on your site.

You can do some cpa marketing etc. It really is endless what you can do and the traffic your getting isn't costing you hardly anything.

This method does not limit you to pizza shops or Netflix. Expand it and see what you can do with it.

Business advertising in mail is expensive. You are providing that for them for free. All your asking is that the fliers contain your offer. I think it is a great plan and benefits everyone.

I've been reading this thread with a huge smile on my face. First of all, full credit to the OP for sharing his method and actually TAKING ACTION as opposed to sitting behind a keyboard, taking the method apart and convincing himself it won't work.

This method DOES work. It's sustainable, it can be scaled up, it can be done in virtually any country and it's noob friendly but you have to think, test, adjust, implement and EARN. I know because I've been doing it for a long time and I've put other people in business doing the same thing. I do a lot offline which is where the "offline strategist" comes from.

Open your mind, think beyond Netflix and pizza. Think past flyers. Think maybe bright orange stickers that you can print at home. (4 up or 8 up on a sheet, easy to apply to the top of a box, 2 litre bottle or ?) or drop cards that look like folded money as mentioned in another thread.

Think other high traffic or delivery businesses like:

- currency exchanges
- quick lube / oil change
- chinese food / subs / burgers, etc.
- hair salons / tan spa / nails
- gas stations
- coffee shops
- video stores
- pet stores

Match the offer with the traffic - think past low paying CPA offers and go for bigger tickets (a free trial of a wrinkle reducer or diet product in a salon?, a free car insurance quote in a quick lube?).

When you approach business owners, go in with a plan. Look credible, tell them you have "realtionships with major brands", build long term relationships and make it worth it to them. Assign tracking codes to the offers you have for them so you can show them legitimate reports and always pay them what you promise. Here is a sample of just one card we drop off to potential partners:

Here's another twist: FUNDRAISING! How many of you have seen kids standing out in front of a grocery store or Wal-mart peddling popcorn or candy for their sports team or scout troop? How many of you have kids that come home with fundraisers for magazine subscriptions or cookie dough? Here's a hint, EVERY organization is looking for ways to make extra cash virtually year -round. Work a deal with them to hand out a small "thank you" note to everyone that buys or doesn't buy from them, put an offer on it and split the bank with them! The posibilities are endless - again THINK and EARN.

Think longer term by sending the traffic to your lander first and build a list - then monitize again and again.

It's not my intention to hijack the OP's thread but rather reinforce his thoughts and efforts. His idea is not only a very good one - it really does work, you just have to get off your butt and TAKE ACTION instead of sitting in front of your computer hoping that one day you'll find a method that turns your PC into an ATM.

Maybe it's time to put together a nice little WSO on this, anyone interested in a JV?

Im assuming the OP has some sort of relationship with the owner of the pizza place, guys =/

He may have one now but he probably did not at first.

Call a local pizza place and make an appointment with the owner and pitch your idea.

That is how you generally get the ball going on something like this.

It's a pretty good idea but I agree with some of the replies above - your figures will be way off. It's a mistake a lot of people make. They just guestimate their expected conversions and think it'll be a goldmine - but half the conversion rate and it's an expensive flop.

This is an awesome idea. Its got me wondering if it can be automated in some way. Like a JV facilitating website where local business owners can look for offers to partner on and run. Maybe even get print shops in on it. Hmmm.

A lot of corporate pizza places are already doing this. Or like when you go to Sonic and you get some advertisements thrown in your bag of food...

I did something very similar to this idea about 7 mos ago.
It was a new BBQ restaurant that open up and we did the take out
menu for them at no cost to them.

The front was their take out menu on the back was the ads that we sold
to various businesses around the BBQ joint.

Only sold 6 ads at $150 per spot so I put CPA offers in the other 4 spots.

Was making about $400 a month or so from the offers.

Not great but it was a start.

I was able to get 5000 full color front and back flyers printed for $350

I know that this idea will work for just about any type of restaurant that offers
a takeout menu.

Great thread. I've been thinking about how to use free offline traffic to make the most use from my housing leads. Often times people with bad credit are not worth much to mortgage companies, so send them a subprime credit card, credit repair offer, or payday loan offer if they can't qualify for a loan. Instantly boosts my value per lead :)

I know, this thread is old, but maybe someone has subscribed it and could answer me the following question:

Is it needed/better to create a landing page for offers like a 30day free trial from an dvd-renting company (like lovefilm, or netflix...) , or can I just buy a domain and forward it to my affiliate Link?!

Is someone ( maybe the OP) still in this business? I'll try this today, and call some people, maybe start to design the flyer ;) Do you have made any mistakes, which you can tell me, so that I can avoid doing the same?

Thank you, if s.o. answers ;)

Edit: I forgot to say "THANKS" ;) You put a lot of ideas in my head, I'm thinking of a few twists since an hour^^

Im pretty sure its not new but want to share something im doing with ppl on here, because hey it still works.... but im working with local pizza shops around my city, i have flyers that promote the netflix free 30 day trial offer and they slap the flyers on all of their boxes that get picked up and delivered. The flyers also have 4 specials that the pizza shop is running so its pretty official. Call to action is something like Enjoy Free Movies with your Hot pizza! Visit link below to recieve any dvd you want shipped to your front door FREE for 30 days. Thats not how i worded it exactly but you get the idea. one pizza shop averages 500-600 boxes delivered each week. so thats 500-600 flyers per shop per week. im only working with one shop right now, but the numbers will be enormous once i start doing this with 4 or 5 shops, think about it 500 boxes per week per shop, 5 shops is 2,500 boxes/flyers out per week! a lousy 10 percent of those 2,500 flyers sign up for the free trial which is 15 dollars where i have it right now. thats 250 sign ups which will equal up to 3,750 per week. thats 15k per month! I mean its totally doable, just give the pizza shops 10 percent at the end of the month, and profit like hell!~

This is legit as hell. However, I think many of us will find that the pizza places want a monthly/perbox payment agreement. So its kind of like figuring out your EPC and pricing accordingly. Additionally, do you suggest representing yourself as "Netflix" or just as an affiliate?

This for sure works. We do it with a different twist though. This works for all kinds of places that serve food. I would not make it my sole way of income but it is something you cad add for additional income that is really simple to do. If your scared to talk to people though it will be tough.

Brilliant hustle!
