The government is considering the blocking of internet protocol (IP) addresses of companies/exchanges on which trading in cryptocurrencies is happening, said a source in the know. Two months ago, the government had said it intended to bring a Bill to ban private cryptocurrencies and introduce India’s own digital currency in line with what China and other countries had done.

is it only in INDIA?

Shame there's no way of getting around IP blocks for Indian crypto users.

Maybe one day there will be some kind of browser which uses layers of proxies, kind of like an onion, in order to obfuscate the source of the user from being connected to a website directly.

Guess that would be a useful tool to still be able to access crypto sites from India. If it actually existed and was easily downloadable and usable that is.
