Hi Guys,

So I'm a programmer and have started been making a bunch of bots over the past few days, but I need some advice on big picture strategy and what to focus on.

Some of the tools I have built include:
- A wordpress "remote management" tool that allows you to post spun articles to hundreds of wordpress blogs at once (with a web interface), it also scrapes news feeds to automatically get extra content for the blog so it doesn't feel to spammy, it can bulk change site names and taglines from one central interface
- A twitter automator bot that creates accounts, logs in, searches for users, follows users, retweets their latest tweet or posts tweets
- A pintrest account creator that generates accounts from a database, searches for pins, and adds pins, follows other users

I'm planning on covering most of the social networks etc but I feel like I am just playing around in the dark without any real direction. I have tried to read between the lines from the link building packages advertised here to see what they do, but what step by step stratgies would you focus on?

How many different sites does your WP tool post to?

Perhaps offer that as a service (i.e I'll take an article and post it to 10k WP blogs for $99).

People would buy that all day every day.

I learnt long ago that people with "skillz" generally have none.

Why not Provide the Bots in the Freebie's section in that you will get to know more about your skills
then you can sell custom bots in the marketplaces..

I can recommend you to start up a website where you can list your bots with the pricing details

Keey watching in "Hire a freelancer" if any one is looking for such bot

I hope much will be enought for the exposure of your skills

Thanks

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your replys

I learnt long ago that people with "skillz" generally have none.

Fair call! I read some other "similar" posts after putting mine up and I think you are right

Absolutely unlimited, I just need to setup the blogs which I can automate. The question was less of an "How can I exploit the BHW Community" and more of an "Now that I can bust some serious seo, what should my network look like?"

But yeah, I was thinking of offering it as a service once it was proven to work.

Tell me more about the WP Automator.

So how it works is there is a central web server with a database of wordpress blog addresses. I have written a "remote control" script that sits in the local blog directory and grabs the various wordpress settings automatically - so there is no configuration necessary. It can then manipulate the mysql database as it needs to.

So you could do a bulk site rename, bulk wordpress posts etc. I have grouped them by theme at the moment to try and keep it legit and am scraping various other sources for info to keep them "live" rather than just a link farm.

I could but seeing as its a web based tool you would need to setup a fair whack of configuration on your local box.. I really didn't design it to be a stand alone program.

Are you selling these bots?

Again I can do, but its not the purpose of the post. I think a better way to bust it out would be to run it as a web service though. For various reasons some are made in nodejs, some in python and the wordpress one is done in PHP. The wordpress one is the most legit, where you can just setup your network in the database and use it as a convenience tool. I think they should be a bit more proven and rather than selling the tool - i'm trying to look at the big picture strategy. As such I would sell you an SEO suite that walks you though the black hat process step by step... Like Step 1. Setup your wordpress blogs... Step 2. Find some related newsfeeds to autopost.... Step 3. Setup your list of social network accounts to retweet / pin whatever. Essentially running an entire SEO campaign, not just a single task.

So just to reiterate, what I'm looking for is solid step-by-step strategies to kickass blackhat seo (in order!) so I can systemise it. If you guys are interested I am happy to let you in and try it out for free once its a bit more stable as a thank you for helping me out.

I'd just spam directly as tier 1... then with GSA blast the blog posts with PR1+ links.

No need to make it more complicated than it needs to be.

Thanks IamNRE!

I'll give it a go and let you guys know how it goes!

Should I continue bothering with the social blasts as well? and should I be directing them to my main site or the Tier 1s?

Ok, so i've been doing some more research and it looks like I may have been overthinking it. The wordpress management is going to be a godsend, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of focus on the social but gazing into my crystal ball I think a social dripfeed isn't going to hurt. But I might focus it over a period of months and point it to my paysite

I have two great links but can't post them yet 'cause i'm a noob, when I get some more cred i'll chuck em up unless someone want to PM me and post them on my behalf.
