got scammed 2.5k$ by "Partner"

Hello,

I met someone on blackhatworld and we made some businesses together, that was 2 years ago, after that we made more and more businesses, he was really kind person, I thought that I was lucky to find him.

We kept doing money together, and then my paypal was closed, so I was selling products using his Paypal, he was owing me about 2.5k$ and now he disappeared.
He's not answering on Whatsapp, also his wife is not answering, I tried to contact him by phone call and Facebook but now he deleted his whatsapp, facebook, and phone closed.
I have his facebook and his family facebook, he's from vanzuela so that 2.5k$ worth a lot there.

what do you suggest? should I go there? sue him? contact his family?

Go there and see him. If you've known him for years give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe something big happened at home? If your sure he scammed you then take legal action.

really 2500$$ is a big amount but learn this as a Lesson & keep going
 
Venezuela is really turbulent at the moment, I would call him/family member up.

I was reading somewhere that the average monthly salary in Venezuela is $33usd a month, That is just messed up man
 
thanks guys but I think going to vanzuela would cost me a lot and there's a risk of getting a shot in my head:(

If we are going that route than maybe they are erasing his online presence. Heck maybe he is kidnapped by aliens. :)

Anyway OP sorry for your lose, sad truth is that money makes people do stupid things, i would trust only people that are close to me.
