Got robbed $800 by Xplicit

it was only a matter of time before he get banned. There was countless threads about him doing that to people. Passing off templates are custom designs, etc. etc In the end karma got him. Good jobs mod's hopefully they will keep him banned and from offering anymore services. No service provider suppose to talk or even respond to a client like that no matter how annoying the customer is

Shit! That was the biggest no of complaints i've ever seen in bhw in a single thread!

I too have a bad experience with him in past!

He banned me on Sep 16th 2010 for 1 month. He was "Moderator in Training" at that time.

I seen one of the thread in hire-a-freelancer section bumping all day in homepage of bhw. There were more than 10 replies from freelancing members but the thread starter posted that he didn't find suitable candidate. The job was about photoshop. So I sent him pm with my portfolio and got hired. After completion of job, i posted on the thread that "i was hired for this project and the job is completed"

After a Couple of Minutes i got PM from the kid xplicit

"Have you completed that photoshop job?"

I replied, "Yes xplicit, i've done the job and the OP paid instantly! Also i left him +1 iTrader"

Then...

I AM BANNED! and BHW shows this message

"You are banned for 1 month for trying to sell services out of services for sale section"

WTF? I didn't tried to sell anything!? i just completed a job posted under freelancer section!

Then i Skyped one of our member to look at that thread to see where i made mistake. He said that xplicit is 1 out of 10 members who applied for that job before me.

Is this any good? He really misused his powers even while he is just in training! :dot:
 
mods, i want to thank you for banning this kid.

i was getting annoyed at the amount of complaints he's been getting this past month.
 
I guess Xplicit has some sort of attitude problem... lol

I gotta jump in this now, Xplicit got banned because he F'd me over by lying about traffic and earnings for a few sites he traded me for a directory site. Look up Unmasterplus on DP and see how immature the little bastard is and that will tell you why he got banned. He even tried to sell that directory site on DP for some outrageous price because he lied about the earnings again. A man of his word he is not especially seeing all of the complaints surfacing about him here. I provided proof of all of this to the mods so his DP BS doesn't work its way over the BHW. He also used DP quite a bit and if anyone remembers, a majority of his posts were bashing DP even though he was their biggest advocate lmao. BTW he's banned at DP as well.

Its real bullshit. you should have taken this issue to other mods who are not in training.

Thanks for this! Yes BigBuddy, i tried all possible ways to contact mods. But i can't able to PM anyone as i was banned.

Even i tried to create new account in different name just to inform this to mods. But it showed that my ip was banned from accessing the forum and i didn't got registration mail too. So i simply discussed about this to my IM buddies and waited until my ban is lifted.
 
He'll probably be back XD Ah i wonder why everyones going into scam mode
 
If you used a CC via paypal you can get your money back. Even with tracking proof say he mailed you a blank CD just to cover his ass on PayPal.

Otherwise you're probably fucked. Oh and his story sounds like total BS. He obviously lives with his mom so call the number back and explain to his mom what happened, perhaps even forward her to this thread so she can see he's a scamming liar. Chances are he'll get grounded and his Internet taken away, might even be forced to go work at mcdonalds or something.
 
or just call your credit card company and do a chargeback, you will get your money but i think paypal will close your account.

I've hired xplicit for several jobs and hese been nothing but helpful at answering my questions and the quality is good too, always been happy with it.

Regards to bezopravin, as far as i know of you cant ban anyone when your a mod in training? correct me if im wrong and i will take back what i have said.
 
He's already been banned, but just thought I'd say I paid this guy for an ewhore lander a while back and he gave me some bullshit that was already used on a big network lol. He ended up "creating" another design when I confronted him, but that was probably old too. Didn't care that much since it wasn't much money, but just thought I'd put it out there...if you need a good designer hit up webmasterbhw (something like that, hes here on BHW for $45 / hour)...he's definitely legit.

Yes, while in training, we cant ban any members, as we dont have banning powers. But we use to request our fellow mods to initiate the action. Due to the trust, our fellow mods will ban the members. He would have been misused it.
