Got questions about ebay? Ask here

itll depend on the brand and category of item as some beauty products are hot targets for bootlegs. Start out slow, don't just suddenly appear with 200 high end brand products appearing out of nowhere. Mix in various other stuff while you're at it if you can and you'll be fine

the fact that you've been selling on this account and not just buying is going to help you, just don't go 0-100 out of nowhere. Look natural.

Tom while I appreciate your participation, if you could please lighten up on the hijacking I'd appricaite it as this thread is supposed to be for people asking me questions specifically, not a general Q/A thread, thanks bro. (I tried to speak to you privately but for some reason I can't PM you specifically, so no choice but to ask publicly)

Sorry to clarify im selling basic beauty supplies, not cosmetics. I believe its a good niche.

Truthfully, the biggest question to ask is "are they authentic or fakes?"

if theyre authentic, then you should have little to no concern about complaints from customers, which is often one of the biggest starting points for trouble

Take your own picture, avoid using stock images, and dont flood ebay with all your listings at once, trickle them out and slowly build up your volume of active listings and you should be good to go.

If you're in this for the long haul then taking your time to get setup (a month or two) in an organic manner shouldn't be a big deal for you, as you're not just trying to do a cash grab and run

that is all assuming as I said, youre legitimate and selling authentic product. Now, if you're planning to go the fake and/or stealth route, that's a whole other mess

then yeah, you shouldn't have much to worry about, just avoid flooding the market at once with a ton of listings
