I am unsure about the $25, $30 suggestions. I was thinking the same thing, may be worth a couple hundred.

I would bid 30-40$ if I could keep myself in the loop about the other offers he is getting. That way you have a chance of getting it really cheap, after which you might want to be a good friend and buy him that bottle of wine as well.

But if it is an "auction" where you cannot keep tabs on the opposition, it might be safer to pay the 125$ ~ 100€, because the domain is in my opinion worth the couple of hundred.

As suggestions go from 30 $ to 400$ and i dont have a lot of budget i will call him NOW. I will ask if he got a lot of response. If there is no response to his offer yet i will offer him 50$ and tell him he will have the money in his pocket in a few seconds if he got a paypal account. If he is not ok with my generous bid, i will send him an eMail in a few days with my maximum bid. Stay tuned if you are interested how it ended
