Hey guys some competitor of mine is constantly making hundreds for bad links for my site. I was earlier updating disavow on weekly basis but earlier he was only making few links daily but now he has increased daily bad links volume. My site today went to 6th page form page 1st for every keyword. I have updated my disavow file now on the basis of links obtained from ahrefs. Please advise me is there chance of recovery of my website. please experienced opinions only

How many links did you have before his actions? If you had a few and he builds hundreds or even thousands that can cause some damage.
Buy/build some authority links to your site with brand anchors.

Anyway google has promised to devalue bad links although there are still some options to neg seo if done wisely but they cost more. Take action and report after few weeks.
+ continue to disavow those spam links, that might help a little bit.

I have around 300 backlinks for my website and that guy was constantly doing negative seo since then. But then I used to update my disavow daily or in at least two days. So earlier also I got hit since the first time I got aware of negative seo of my website, was after 1 week from the date that guy started building bad links. At that time I slipped to 2nd page and 15th rank. but after two weeks I was again back since I started updating disavow once in two days. After few days there was a decrease in bad links so I started updating my disavow in an interval of 1 week. But suddenly today I discovered a big slip in my site rankings, therefore checked my backlink profile, that guy has made around 300-400 bad links in this span of 1 week (most of the links, around 200-350, were built in the last 3 days). Now I have updated my disavow, purchased around 50 links and I am also building good manual links. Let's see and hope for the best. I can't take on this penalty. I have invested a lot in this project.

I don' think google should send a website to the bin for just 3 days bad link building. But problem is that guy is constantly firing my website through gsa. I am seeing new links every hour in my ahrefs.

It might be not the cause of ranking slip, with penguin 4 it's not that easy to damage the site now. I would say that just keep working on your site and you will be fine.

How will you know if what hurt you was the purchased links or the negseo? I'd put off link building for a while and protect yourself from the negseo first by adding lots of content.

If this site is legit, it'll outlive the negseo. But I wouldn't be buying links right now.

Sometimes after a while the negseo attempt can work in your favor!

You could go to official Google forums and add your case specifically, see if you get some reply from their reps.

Just some random ideas.

This sounds Harsh but If i were in your shoe, I will start all over again with a new site and watch this old one from a distance to see if it will recover, then, I will Spam all websites on Google's first page that I suspect to be doing the Negative SEO.

I did that too. I disavowed all the bad links but Google apparently does not give a damn fuck about that links list. Eventually you will get penalized if Penguin 4.0 can't do it's job. Just 301 your domain to a new or expired one and establish your business there. You will be back in less than a month.

I did that to a quite few websites. Some websites gained their ranks, some don't. Not sure what makes them get back on track but you can always DOUBLE redirect for safety if you want so.

So those that gained it back were back to normal within a month? That's cool

It sucks, but it's a dog eat dog world.

Most of the time you're going to deal with some assholes.. and other times, you'll be dealing with SEVERAL.

I hope I've not hijacked the Op's thread,I'm sorry Op,finally, do you do the redirect for a few weeks and then stop redirecting, or you do it and dont look back, I dont know if you understand my question, its similar to what the last poster on this thread asked you to do https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/301-redirecting-penalized-website-question.753975/

That is the magic trick. Leave the redirect for a few weeks until it appears in the backlinks history of the domain and then stop it :)

Where did you buy those links? When I said buy I thought about legitime sites - newspapers, press releases, guest blogs not 100 articles for 100 $.

1. How does your ancor ratio look like?
2. When you say 300 backlinks, how many referring domains?
3. Check google webmaster tools. If you haven't your site it there, add it. I usually don't but in your case I would.
4. What kind of links is he firing at you? Kws in anchors or porn, hack, viagra type links?
If those links are really bad, contact Sven at GSA forum, he might try do find who is behind this.
