The limits depend on many factors from the age of your account to what device you’re using to preform the actions. I recommend using slave accounts to do f/u. It’s too risky to do on your main account as you’ve seen.

How many actions you did? Did you use your phone to do manual actions or mobile proxy and an antidetect browser?
As suggestion you may try to use other accounts/child accounts to just promote your main account. In this way you avoid this situation as main account will not do extra actions

To avoid an Instagram ban, it's important to limit follow/unfollow actions to around 100-150 per day for a new account and 200-300 for an aged account, while gradually increasing activity to avoid triggering Instagram's spam filters.

You need to scale this gradual follow 25 accounts daily and set time while doing this(always comeback at the end time you finish following yesterday).

If you are managing multiple accounts, keep these accounts separate with profile antidetect browser and proxy. After creating accounts, you should warm them up
