Got a Large SEO Client!!

what gigs are you using?

Well, I would really prefer to not list the exact gigs, because I think the mods would yell at me for promotion or something like that. But I will give you a hint: Not from the US, Offers 250 High PR Links, with 3000 links to the 250 as a buffer. A link pyramid. Do some searching and you will find it. The other gig is also not from the US, and offers a 8 Site link wheel with High PR.

Clients definately help alot when your trying to make cash online - so congrats on a larger one.

Thanks a million!

Congratulations and good luck man! I hope you do real good! You know how these big clients are. Mess up and they're never going to hire you ever again. They'll also tell their friends not to hire you. But do a great job and you're on your way to millions as they'll refer you to their friends!

I know. Nerve-racking to say the least :-). But I know I do good work, so it's OK.

congrats!

Thanks!

Subscribed to this thread because the sales techniques/info are damn impressive.

Thanks a lot for this.

You are more than welcome. If there is more demand, I would be happy to go over some sales techniques I use. Where do you need help?

Congrats man. Very inspiring thread!

Thanks!

Awesome congrats! It's such a nice boost of energy when I read these threads.

I understand. When I read Takticals thread, it really made me get off my ass. So to Taktical, thx for the great thread.

Congrats mate... very inspiring thread ... for a noob like me to read that you can make it in this game , I'm not complaining or asking to be spoonfed just wanted to say that im a noob and I read a lot around the forum ... and i feel probably like most of the noobs... that are real noobs because there are noobs that learn and try and fail and noobs that try one method either they fail either they make 2$ and think its all a scam... but I don't really care what do other people think , most money i've made in my life out of internet is 170$ with a CPA network... and im prodoud of it ... so i know that if i learn , read and learn some more... i will get to something valuable :) This thread is giving me hope for another sleepless night lworking and upgrading myself towards a better future. Thanks! Be safe!

The thing for all the noobs out there, is never give up. Oh, and even though I just broke that rule, stop with the whole noob thing! Even if you are new to the game, walk the walk and talk the talk. It's all in your head. Consider yourself a pro, and things happen for you. Law of attraction :)

Here is another quote that I like: "There wouldn't be nearly as many people who fail in this world, if they realized that when the gave up, they were closer than ever to success."

yo the man! really inspiring... go for it!

I do, I am, and I will. Thanks! I hope it helps at least one person here, as it would be all worth it.

Man, you have started just 4 months ago and you already have a contract for $24k... you're the shit :D

About the gigs you use, would you send them to me on PM, please?

The last question, which are the SEO techniques that mostly work for you, you already mentioned link wheels...

Amazing, impress the fuck out of them :D

Thank you! Shall do :D

Good luck!

damn, good score, my man

Thanks!

Thanks man. Yes, I am glad I got this contract, it feels awesome. Again, though, read every page of Taktical's thread, I learned alot from that thread.

And, one technique that I use, if I revealed it, would make it a lot more difficult for me to utilize it. Not being greedy, but, you know, I don't wanna shoot myself in the foot. I hope you understand.

And yes, I will send you PM soon.

Thanks for sharing and keep us posted. I love hearing about successes like this. Keeps me and other motivated to keep working hard!

Great! If you stick to whatever you are doing, no matter how frustrated you get, you will succeed. It is a law of life. :-)

I would like to ask that people stop with the PM's. Please ask me questions here so everyone can participate in the discussion. Thanks!

I made it sound like I typically charge a bit more than that without actually stating a higher amount. Besides, I probably could have gotten more, in reality. Most companies that cater to large companies like that start at 5K/month or so. And no, I didn't negotiate.

Here is a tip, one that I learned when selling RV's, you know, big motorhomes and such. It's all about creating value. So, I created a "value package", that comes with their purchase. Like with SEO, I include a fan page or something like that. Then if they start dicking me on the price, I take away the "bonus" items they get, one by one. They typically want everything. But in order to have everything, they have to pay for it. Here is an example for an RV:

"Buy any travel trailer on the lot, and get the Travel Trailer Value Package for free, worth $3950!"

"Package includes:

-Hitch and Sway bars -$1500 Value
-7.5" GPS Unit - $500 Value
-Auto-Track Satellite Dish -$1200 Value
-Outdoor, side mount BBQ $400 Value
-Foldaway table and chairs -$350 Value

So, let's say the price of the trailer is $25K

If the customer offers 23K, I would take away the hitch and sway bars, and the GPS unit. You see, if I take it away, and they buy it for 23K, I still have the EXACT same gross profit. Cool, eh? Now apply this technique to your services and products, and it doesn't matter what you sell it for, your profit stays the same. :)

You will do great, since you seem to know what the hell to do. Take ACTION!

Thanks! Yup, I mess around too much with the small fish. I have 17 clients, but not one this big. It's exciting!
Really Great work! Aside from sales experience, what kind of experience do you have with website builds, education, training etc...?

Hello how if the President ask you about your team? What will you say if he wants to see them?
Thanks, really great boost of energy

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to post this thread as inspiration to others. Today I landed a client that will net me just short of $24,000 over the next 12 month. It is a large paint manufacturer and distributor. Contract is for $1995/month for 12 months.

Get this: This company has offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, Japan, Mexico, Canada, and throughout Europe. And, the PRESIDENT of the company is the one who contacted me, via my website.

Oh, and this contract is for their storefront in ONE location. They have 17 storefronts, so.... do the math. When I impress them with this one location, then the rest are in the bag :D

Get going guys, get that paper. :-)

i suggest outsourcing and spending all the income for a few months on seo to impress them.

you can spend 1,5k to get 10-15mil profiles and comments (yes you can get that kind of prices with outsourcing, need to look hard though.) to build a pyramid with some web2.0 and social backlinks from the rest (500)

later spend like 500 out of the 2k for each store.

take care

Congratz man! Now if you do great, he will recommend you to another client, and then you will build more clients.

I am going to start and get my first offline client , I hope.

Another question that came to mind while staring to get my shit together. Are you an LLC or incorporated in anyway? I assume the business owner will claim this service on their taxes so how does that work?

IE; for me I will be small time but im thinking if im dealing with business owners who will probally claim my work as services to them than it may come back to bite me If I also dont claim the income.

So what are you? I cant assume this amount is under the table.

I know some HTML, but I strictly use Wordpress and Themeforest to build my sites for clients. It looks great, the CMS is great, and clients love it.

Eh, I am not concerned about this at all. Again, if I was concerned about this I would be creating my own problems. Don't overthink it guys, just get going and take action. If a mountain comes your way, climb it and get it done.

I am going to form my company as an LLC this month for sure. As far as taxes go, the just writes it off as an expense, I am NOT a 1099 or anything. And I get to write off alot of stuff, such as my new computer, nearly all the miles on my car, my cell phone, and home based business tax deduction which is HUGE.

Amazing... Congrats for great success.

Thanks!

Good job, buddy! How will your tax work as far as figuring out your net income on this deal? If you gross 24k over the year from them, what are you going to net? I mean you're going to net a lot because you're doing the SEO work yourself, but are you able to deduct the cost of your time somehow?
