I'm not sure if they're going to do it with this update, but I do suspect that the expired domain penalty that they have rolled out recently will be extended and deepened.
What I mean by that is that the window of domain registrations that Google is penalizing starts at 2022.
So if you have an expired domain PBN empire and you've registered everything in 2022, you got hit.
But if you registered before that time, you survived.
Well, don't expect that to last far longer because that window might get extended to 2020, and then 2018.
It's anybody's guess.
So the bottom line is things are changing and changing really quickly.
