Google Will Allow Negative Seo

I got a message two weeks ago no tanking at all at one of my sites. I got it from bmr. Dont panic you may not tank at all.

Don't speak too soon your site will definately tank if you receive the message, just wait for it.

Karma's a *****, tanking a competitor might help you in the short run, but it's a vicious cycle. Just don't do it.

Also, I sure as heck hope you're wrong about "unnatural" links being detrimental to ranking. I always figured Google was smarter than that, there's just no way they can kill your rankings because of links, it makes it way too easy to sabotage.

Do you never read or just jump into conclusion, am not saying I AM GOING TO SABOTAGE A COMPETITORS.

Use the search function and see how many people who got their site deranked, go to google forum see people complaining after they receive the letter.

One word that comes is, this open a negative seo. You don't believe pick your best performing site and build ALN post on it and see what happened in few weeks

I'm not sure Google is this dumb. I think they're taking away the link juice for these blog network links. You probably moved up the serps with them, now you'll go back to where you started.

If you start on a competitor it's already too late. They won't pass on any juice, if they do his site might rise for awhile and then fall back to where it was when you began blasting it.

I can't believe it would be that easy to tank a competitor. I imagine there are some clever people out there who would love to be able to prove you could do this. Imagine if Microsoft ran a case study and proved it was possible. Google would be right in the shit.

So blast away at your competitors, you'll be wasting your time which could be better spent building more quality links to your own site.

I believe your right. You are not being dropped once they give you these notices of unnatural links. It is taking anywhere from a week on for you to start losing rank. Just keep building links!!

I suspect such tactics was used to knock my site of the first page of Google for a real juicy keyword. I mean when i ranked NO 1 the traffic was amazing. Hundreds of visitors daily instantly overnight.

within two weeks i was knocked back to page 2 and i am mad and fighting back like hell. We now have some dirty SEO players and Google lately, does not ask who did it: just instant punishment.

Yes, i have now come to believe someone can knock your site off NO 1 ranking with some well placed bastard links.

Sorry, that statement wasn't directed at you. I was just speaking to those reading the thread getting the idea of possibly sabotaging their competition with tactics like this.

dotcomdesigns had it right, they aren't introducing negative SEO. Instead, they are bringing down the blog networks and as those links disappear, the rankings you achieved from those links are disappearing as well. They're de-indexing the blogs that are added to these networks, so what did you expect to happen?

So basically, build more diverse links. Don't rely on blog networks.

This is unfortunately true :(. There is more than devaluing going on I got hit really hard by the 3.4 update. I was sent back 100's of positions. Where I was ranking 1-5 before, now I'm ranking like 50-100 on many terms. Ugh.

We definitely are living in interesting times that is for sure. Do I believe you can affect another persons site negatively? I am starting to think it is possible. I did not used to think this way. Although for now the jury is still kind of out.
I have sites that have been attacked before and nothing happened. However I am starting to hear some weird stuff happening around the web these days,

F**K Google! My sites got De-indexed. Is it possible to re-index them. .
