Youi know if you right click on the image and just copy the image url and visit it then save it ... it should work

The problem with stealing photos is once the author finds the image on your site and captures a screenshot. Downloading a photo is trivial. IMO this is a useless gimmick and probably has some other reason other than copyright protection.
