Exactly. If you have 10 sites in the same overall category and built them all as one sub category on your page seems like you could leverage it all better.....
That being said I guess you can link between the sites which is nice
Yeah it depends on the niche. If it actually was outdoors, I'd probably make on larger site. However in the niche I am, there's several "smaller niches" within the niche itself, so making several sites makes a lot more sense, esepcially since they're all monetized in different ways from Drop shipping to affiliate, to adsense, to whatever.
I also like to build duplicate websites if the niche is really good, why have one site when you can rank 5 properties on the first page.
And yes, exactly that - If one of my sites perform poorly, I simply use it as a PBN or even do a 301 redirect later.
Oh, and also; this way you can sell of a few websites for a big cash injection while keeping the rest for passive income. But yeah, again, depends on the niche.
EDIT: And another reason: If your site get hit in a Google update or whatever, then at least you have another site or two that (hopefully) survived.
Another reason: You can try different SEO approaches (blackhat/white/grey/whatever) on all the different sites to see what's working and what's not.
no, it is a business site. had nothing to do with YMYL concept.
Interesting - Hope you'll come back here and update us on the dance later.
