Every keyword that I'm tracking has had it's top 10 reshuffle significantly in the last couple of hours.
Anyone else seeing this?
UPDATE: The new SERPs show for a few hours, then revert back the old SERPs for a few minutes, then back to the new SERPs again... not sure whether the Google guys are just playing, or this is in fact a new update.
It's definitely affecting quite a few users, per the below.
Commentary:
I'm going to go ahead at this early stage and call this the Click Through Update (assuming it's an update, and not just testing).
Looking at the data for the (few) sites that I have had in WMT for a while; the movements I've seen are directly proportional to the CTR from the SERPs... sites with awesome CTR have risen sharply, whilst those with lesser CTR haven't really moved.
