Google Update Again..?

According to my stats, this looks more like on-site update. G is now taking more care of visitors. Bounce percentage, time on site, aggressive mouse movements, back to search, etc...

Even though you lost a ton of backlinks listed on backlink checker like ahrefs at the same time of the update, the two can not be related. You should know already that google and these link checkers are different company. There can be a few reason why you lost backlinks from ahref or alike, since you mentioned it is a blog comment, it maybe pushed to the next page and ahrefs haven't crawled it yet.

Now, if you are checking your backlinks from G webmaster tools and suddenly a massive drop of backlinks listed for your site, There might something into it.

I had a massive amount of backlinks deleted right when this happened, total drop from 30,000 to 13,000. Blog comments, high pr. Can you guys go on ahrefs.com and see if the same or similar happened?

A straight downhill graph line down, almost instantly? Half my backlinks?

It's the timing and that they got deleted so fast that that match up that has me wondering... because lost backlinks lost juice. I just don't know why it happened almost instantly.

I think it's just a coincidence.

I think it's just a coincidence.

Well if it happened to anyone else, let me know guys.

I don't think this was an on-page Panda update. I only had one site hit, the one with the deleted links.

All of You who got slaped. Did you have oryginal, human written content or spinned stuff on your sites ?

One of my sites got trashed....

rest of them seem ok for now

Today, a 5-day old site of mine with few high PR links popped up to #6 from nowhere, then dropped to nowhere again.

100% unique everything from content to images to coding to design. This is some real stuff to not some $30 wordpress theme and $5 articles.

I highly doubt this is Panda, I smell fish. Which unfortunately raises questions regarding current best practices off-site (disclaimer: at least in my niche).

I got high quality 300-1500 words unique articles for backlinks that i have created (web 2.0 and Personal Blog Network). I have ordered from BST, and content is OK/GOOD not as good from what I'm using though.

This site definitely got slapped, and penalized but my Main and 2nd keyword still rank #1 but my 3rd 4th and 5th keyword was thrown to #100+ from #1-#3

I think I got slapped on the wrist not on the face.. LOL..

Edit - Ah you are asking about content on my site. I build 1st tier backlink with Super High Quality articles..So I can't imagine using spun content for my money site.

Plus there is still some dogshit spun crap on page one.

I think there is something happening for the last few days. I've been out for some time, now rebuilt the sites I had before, but for couple of days there was no new page indexed on a single site of mine... there are still hundreds of pages that had not been indexed again.

So, I believe there's a big change and indexing of certain sort of sites is temporarily stopped also because of that.

Haven't noticed an update.

Same up and down action as always:

I remember something happened in February where there was definitely some sort of an update; but no announcement. I had sites drop all around the board (still first page PHEW!). Same thing seems to have happened here. An update happened, murmering all around and no announcement of panda/penguin. I've definitely seen websites effected. So it could very well be big algorithum changes, but not an update to the Panda monster.

Looking at my webmaster stats, there has not been a big crawl jump in the last few days. Panda usually comes with Google doing a BIG crawl of pages while it reaccesses the internet. Same with penguin. So its probably just a general algorithum change that doesn't get announced.

Exactly what I'm thinking..

Its also been a long time since a Panda update. This might be the start of less regular Panda updates?
