Anyone know that when new core/spam update is coming?
What things to do for keep safe our website?

Google Upcoming Update?

No official date yet for the next Google core or spam update.
To stay safe:
  • Focus on quality, original content
  • Avoid spammy SEO tactics
  • Improve site speed & mobile usability
  • Stay updated via Google Search Status
Stay clean and user-focused to minimize risks.
 
I thought they'd have an official update in May but so far... nothing official.
 
In recent years, Google has released core updates approximately every 3-5 months. In 2025, the March 2025 core update lasts from March 13 to March 27 (a total of 14 days), and the December 2024 core update has been released before that (December 12-18). Based on this rhythm, the next core update may be around July-August 2025 (3-5 months after March). The X post indicates that Google plans to do core updates more frequently in 2025, so an earlier update (such as June-July) is possible.
 
They just announced it but before that they had some pretty big updates that they didn't announce :)))
 
No fixed date, but updates roll out every few months. Stick to quality content, clean backlinks, and good UX to stay safe.
 
With spam update, check backlink and remove low quality, spam link. In addition, keeping the website clean and temporarily not using blackhat techniques will help the website be safer

Google doesn’t announce core/spam updates in advance, but based on past patterns, they roll out every 3–6 months. Last ones were in March 2024 (Core) and May 2024 (Spam) — so another may drop soon.

To stay safe:
Keep content helpful and unique, not AI spammed
Avoid shady backlinks, PBN footprints, and parasite pages
Don’t mass-publish thin pages or keyword stuff
✅ Make sure your site passes EEAT signals (authority, contact, authorship, etc.)

Sites hit last time were mostly:
AI blogs with 0 branding
Spam expired domains
Fake reviews or affiliate cloaking

Just keep it clean, fast, human-first or be ready to churn & burn if you’re playing grey.
 
Google’s next update will focus on showing more helpful and original content. It may reduce rankings for sites with copied or low-quality AI content. To stay safe, create useful, expert-written content that helps real users.

Googles core updates comes with broad changes, you can make your content more accurate, optimize site speed, and check for mobile usability
 
New update comes monthly and core updates comes quarterly.
 
Google does not announce exact dates, but updates usually roll out every few months. To stay safe, focus on quality content, natural backlinks and strong technical SEO. Avoid spammy tactics or thin content - they are often hit hardest.
