NICE!

Features what i can think about now is:
1. get the search numbers of the exact Gtrend "keyword"
2. see the hottiness of the keyword in a graph
3. date/time of the keyword
4. saving Gtrends sheet for that specific day

You run with, once i play with, ideas will come up automatically

Okay, i'm buying a suitable domain name now to turn this project into reality :) Will upload some teaser images from the interface when the domain name is up and running, hopefully within a few hours.

Don't know whether you saw my reply earlier or whether you followed up on it but you might want to pm Nossie here to see whether he can offer any feedback/experiences following his release of NicheShark which was based around gtrends scraping etc - I think you could (both) get a lot from it

Okay, here's a brief update:

- Domain name and hosting is up and running.
- You'll be able to see a graph of where a specific keyword appears in Google Trends top 40 over the period when it's indexed. On a hour-per-hour basis and daily basis.
- See directly what the current status of the specific keyword is (how hot it is.)
- Research about keyword: How many indexed pages and a per hour graph displaying how many pages that are indexed.
- Quick-link to see blogs about the specific keyword.

ghettogong: Thanks alot! :) Having a bit trouble with adwords and google suggestions but will definitely figure out a way to do that in the future.

I'm currently working on the interface for the day by day breakdown, and a few more features to make it easy to use -- then i'll release the beta. give me a day or two :)

The initial interface looks great! I like the idea of 'domain name availability', maybe you could also add an option of 'alternative domain suggestions' which are available as well. (would help with micro targeting) As probably the first person to search a particular trend will nab the premium domain straight away. (I know I would) :).
I would def. be interested in checking this out when you are finished.
 
You're right! :) I'll add the possibility to see if .net , .org, etc. are free to register. :)

I just tested a bulk domain testing feature (to check if like 200 of the most searched terms of the day are free with the .com domain) but i'll sort of crash the server when 10 people run it at the same time. But, your idea is great!
