Google Trends - How Valuable

I am storing Google trends into a database every hour which I use for finding repeat keywords and long term hot trends. Once you get through all of the celebrity scandal and latest news events there is some useful info there. I also use some scripts to generate CPC and Google competition to filter through the rubbish. It really is just another way of getting a dictionary together to find some niche keywords. A lot of them don't stay in the list for more than a few hours...
My goal for the list was to do what 'doug' was doing but in reverse - cross reference hot trends with valuable keywords and you might have a winner for AdSense.

The ones on the way up are sometimes useful and sorting through the index can get you some good keywords, then build a web page article around the keywords, and your page may attract additional traffic for your site

So do you see any value in a website that monitors the trends over 90 days, displaying repeats? I have built a monitoring script, although I am still working on it, I would like to know if I could possibly monetize it somehow.

I use Google Insight in order to track keywords that are "breaking out", it is a very effective tool.
thank you, this would be a great research "further" feature to add to the script.
