Hey Everyone,

For everyone worried about threshold method being changed, do not worry.

This happens usually every ending of the month where google gets ready to charge hundreds of thousands of accounts at once during their regular 1st of the month billing cycle.

I've spoken with many experts in this field and they all say the same, to not worry and work will resume August 1 or 2nd.

As always, stay educated and stay informed out there. And P.S Watch out for scammers selling fake thresholds.

New Zealand and Australia signups seem hard to get high threshold now. I hope it goes back to normal by August.

Agree, most problems occur every ending of the month. Lets wait first week of August.
 
Google's revenues from Google Ads is in billions of US dollars a year. For example, in 2022, it was US$224.47 billion.
Out of that not even 1% is what churners and burners threshold burns are, so Google is least bothered about threshold burns and therefore, it is not the "end of the month, that is why" scenario.
The scenario is that blackhatters (cloaking) folks (many of us as well included), use threshold accounts to run blackhat cloaked campaigns, since we do not want to risk our main Google Ads accounts for running blackhat cloaked campaigns.
So, this lowering of threshold amounts is done to drive away people who do blackhat cloaked campaigns, with Google (Ads) very well knowing that such a move will reduce blackhat cloaked campaigns, because for blackhat cloaked campaign people do not risk their main (actual) Google Ads accounts, as suspensions will occur sooner or later for cloaked blackhat campaigns.
And why does Google Ads want to drive away blackhatters doing cloaked campaigns ? Because Google (Ads) has been getting into law suits filed against Google, with reference to some real nasty campaigns run by criminal gangs of blackhatters doing cloaked campaigns.
Google is least bothered about less than 1% of their billions of US dollars being shaved by threshold burners. The actual reason for lowering of threshold amounts, is what is clearly explained above.
 
I hate Google. So stupid like if you gonna lower the threshold to $10 at least remove the daily spend limit.

This sounds convincing, but removing threshold won't save the day. Those guys will just use stolen credit cards to pay for ads, their only concern is the daily spend limit

This adjustment does not appear to be good. But I think I will adapt soon

People will always find a way to run their ads no matter what.

With reference to my earlier reply, if anyone uses stolen cards, then Google (Google Ads) does not get into a legal issue and the card holder just raises a dispute with the card company and gets back the amount.
Find a way to spend atleast 10X in US$10 / US$20 threshold accounts , it is possible and use that strategy in accounts with lower thresholds.
